About 22£ so, cheap too.

Just an fyi.

Swinnerton/Triton have it in stock..just ordered one. Free shipping of you buy a cable to make it up to £25.👍

https://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/components-c9/seatposts-seat-clamps-c86/line-elite-dropper-under-bar-lever-p23607/s72545?

Manufacturer’s Description
Cable-actuated remote lever for the Bontrager Line Elite Dropper Seatpost
Compatible with most other cable-actuated dropper seatposts
Designed to ergonomically replace the left shifter on 1x drivetrains
Textured thumb paddle provides grip in all conditions
Includes hardware for Shimano I-Spec II compatibility
Remove band clamp for SRAM MatchMaker compatibility

Shift cable sold separately

Doesn't explicitly state that the cable end is secured at the lever but I'm assuming this to be the case as the old lever did. I'll report back.

Bought one of these a while back.

The lever action is different to the old (silver paddle) Bonty lever, but not worse.  The action isn't quite as nice as the Fox Transfer 1X lever, but the ability to fit to a matchmaker clamp is worth the difference.

The cable clamps at the lever, or at least that's how mine is set up, as the Transfer barrel holds the cable nipple

Silly question perhaps - will this work with a reverb?

I will if a DeHy or similar is used to convert the Reverb post to cable actuation

Short answer is that it works with all droppers *but* the Reverb. I do wonder if at some point they'll admit defeat and move to cable.

That looks great though, a good chunk of money less than most other levers *and* MM/i-spec too.

Anybody know what the cable clamp is like on this one? I fitted one of the ztto ones but the clamp didn't seem great, it slipped after a couple of rides so had to do it up far too tight for such a small bolt to keep it from slipping

Cable-clamp-wise, mine hasn't slipped.  Think it's a 2.5mm hex head.

Really? having broken 2 Transfer levers with my knee I've had one of the sliver paddle levers since and prefer it to the Fox lever.

Bont5 gets another 5% off if anyone hadn't already spotted it.

Looks like they learned a lot from the OneUp lever.

I don't know what's going on with the long threaded bolt sticking out the bottom though?

If it is indeed like that I'll dremel that off.😁

Will this play nicely with hope tech levers, which adaptor would I need ?

I have the original bonty one & it's great, but like a minimalist bar!

The bolt sticking out is the clamp bolt just unscrewed.

It works on Tech3 levers with HBSP 325 LH

Tech and Tech Evo levers are HBSP 246 LH

Thanks @Poopscoop. Just bought one.

I've now got the original lever (hardly used as I'm riding my scandal) and a ztto lever (unused)

Must be my mild ocd as I like ispec shifters and this matches up well.

I guess thanks 😆

^^ Snap! 2 spare BX ones and a ZTTO in spares box now....soon to be followed by a mk1 Bonty.Lol

Except for me it's the matchmaker option that is the icing on the cake.😁

It's great that it has adapters for both.

I've used the MMX adaptor to my my spare XX1 shifter on another bike. Makes it a double bargain.

How does this lever compare the the Brand X lever?

What's the lever throw like? I have the latest brand x lever (the not so flimsy version), only complaint is its for a large amount of travel to operate the dropper

Longer throw as it's a longer lever. Just adjust the barrel...not an issue on a transfer.

I'll give it a miss then. Be nice to mount the remote to my hope brakes but ultimately I want a nicer lever throw as the brand x seems to have so much throw

the brand X one I have doesn't take much throw. hardly have to touch the lever to get the post to drop.

ordered one to go with my new oneup dropper

Arrived yesterday, not fitted yet but have to say it's a lovely bit of kit.

Very "sleek", nice wobble free pivot design and cable retention.

Looks like it costs a lot more than it actually does!

Order of magnitude more refined than the ZTTO.

Just ordered one off the Trek UK site (free delivery). Looks like I could use the ispec 2 clamp for my Oneup lever as I could only get the 22.2 clamp when I bought it and it doesn't play nicely with Shimano brakes. The Ispec2 clamp from Oneup was going to cost £20 anyway so this is a bargain and I can use the lever to replace the horrible KS one. Shame as the lever is very good but the clamp is hateful.

Similarly, I have the i-spec mount from this Bonty lever going spare of anyone wants it for the cost of postage.

These look great but I'm not long replaced my Brand X levers with the silver Bonty ones. Still got one Brand X (Race Face) lever in use though and planned on a ZTTO lever, but this sounds like the better option now.

Got a UPS notification today that the one I ordered from Trek site on Friday is arriving tomorrow. It's been dispatched from The Netherlands so looks like Trek UK is out of stock maybe.

I'll give them a few dates before I get the pitch fork!

It turned up today, well packaged. Pitch fork oiled and put back.

Nice lever, took less than 5 minutes to install. Feels good, doesn't rattle and the ispec looks a lot better. Hardest part was getting a little metal cover on the end to stop the cable fraying.

First impressions are good. Will take it for a test run and make sure it doesn't rattle. Cheers for the psa! 👍

Mine also arrived today. The ispec mount works with the Oneup lever and puts it in a much better position for the same price as the i-spec clamp from oneup. Concur with others that the Bonty lever looks good quality too and look forward to replacing the KS lever on my Kona. Bargain, thanks OP

@poah when did you order?

What was your delivery date?

I ordered on the 24th April. The confirmation email states:

Estimated Delivery Date: 30-04-2020 to 13-05-2020 and it arrived today.

You have to give companies some slack in these hard times. Everyone's has turned up so far, chances are yours is in the post so you can't cancel.
