Was browsing commencal's website for some 24" tyres for my boy and saw that they have an insane amount of 2nd hand stuff for sale

26" wet screams, larsens ( ! ) swamp things, ardents etc

https://www.commencal-store.co.uk/PBSCCatalog.asp

lots of other components too

May be of use to someone

Cheers. Dual ply 26 tyres seem hard to find these days so I've ordered a couple.

Someone's bought up a load of bankrupt stock haven't they- there's obvious real used/ex demo stuff in there too but I don't believe most of that is just from their natural stock. Wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of the "used" stuff is just old and maybs storage soiled.

Some good stuff there- though it's a bollocks to wade through! But remember the supertackies have a shelf life- not as much as the slow reazies but the rubber still goes off over time and these are probably pretty old tyres so they will be a little past their best. But, still good probably.

Loved the old Larsens, they were semi slick before semi slick was cool. If they'd just had edge grip they'd have been awesome.

Thanks for that - I ;love larsens on my tandem and they are no longer made so grabbed one

NOrthwind - I guess they just get harder?

I think they fall to bits, I dunno, I have STs in the loft that can legally drink and they're still appear fine. Doesn't mean anything though if the knobs can easily be ripped off.

Aye, they harden up a bit (not just the knobs, the carcass does it too). I suspect eventually they'd go crumbly like the slow reazys do but I've never actually had it happen.
