Have been thinking about getting some dedicated MTB shoes for winter rather than making do with my Merrell walking boots. I spotted these Vaudes last week at 30% off (£116) on Hardloop and recalled they seemed well regarded by many on here. I dithered for quite a few days before finally deciding to pull the trigger this evening. Only to find... they're now 50% off and £84. Free delivery too.

So thought I'd share...
Vaude AM Moab Mid STX at Hardloop

Normal sizes too!

No no no... Just waiting on my delivery of the very same show for £125!

bugger

PS These are a fantastic show and my old pair are now 3 years old, still pretty waterproof and perfectly serviceable. However, the soles are wearing pretty thin in places and I wanted to get another pair to pre-empt my foot coming out the bottom!

I’d say fairly similar. I’m a 44eur in both brands.
These are great shoes, perfect for general UK conditions.
Great PSA, thanks!

Cheers for the link.
I deliberately only ordered the shoes and avoided looking at anything else

Not a retailer I was aware of but a nice range of goods.

Beware though - whilst a .co.uk website it's based in France so keep the order below £135+vat to avoid duty and parcel force charges.

Nice PSA 👍
Thanks convert, was trying to see if they were in the uk.

Noticed if you sign up for their newsletter you get an extra £5 off your first order which is nice.

Tempting but I might wait until someone has them arrive from France to see how long it takes.

I like the look of the VAude winter boots:

Never seen them before. Any idea how wide fitting Vaude are?

@jimmy I have the Moab mids, I like a wide fitting shoe but I would say these are just wide enough. Fine for riding but I wouldn't like to walk far in them.

@Sharkattack I ordered a pair early Tuesday morning and I would have received them today if I hadn’t been out.

Mine are out for delivery today. If I'd put my home address down for delivery, instead of the office, it looks like I'd have had them Saturday. Typical!

Royal Mail do this with us - they then actually deliver them a day or two later. I think some poor postie is having to spoof the app and say they *tried*, when in fact it is still in the van.
