The price of bike racks has gone through the roof. I wanted a Thule easy fold but they are crazy money.

Just bought a peruzzo rack off ebay (new) same as witter pure instinct.

Quick release attachment and folds down for storage.

Couple of places on ebay are selling them for £250 with free postage but currently £50 off. 4 racks are a bit cheaper than 3s.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175415997062?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=vVBE0PVaT6K&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=XQz0tf3FQJC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Currently on sale elsewhere at around 350-400.

Not many left now.

@sharkattack I've been trying to pick up a buzzrack scorpion or similar off ebay or Facebook for ages. As I wanted a folding one they were hard to come by and never anywhere near me and pick up only.

My Thule 3 bike rack that needs a spanner to tighten it will be going on Facebook tonight 😂

Spacing looks very tight for modern mtbs, and the idea of threading all those arms through the different frames sends a shive down my spine (bloomin' hate bike tetris). The £350-400 prices might just be a bit inflated compared to the competition?

@damascus

Where abouts are you located in the country? I have a Buzzrack Scorpion that's no longer in use and wouldn't want much for it.

I'm based in Leigh (WN7) if that helps?

bloomin’ hate bike tetris

In fairness it is an easier game to play at waist height, than up on the roof of your car...

@johnw1984 thanks for the offer, but the new rack was delivered this morning. I wish id put up a wanted add now but no one seems to read them.

Cheers

Majority of the time it's just 1 bike, sometimes 2 so not an issue. I wanted something that would fold down smaller than my current one when I'm away in the campervan and something I could quickly remove to get into the tailgate.

120cm max wheelbase? That's a lot of modern MTBs out.
