I already have mine but last year they were all sold out. Get in there early guys to avoid disappointment and cold feet this winter

Are they very wide? I bought a pair of shimano shoes a few years ago and they were pretty tight width wise.

yeah, there wider than most. If you can, try before you buy, but if not, buy at least 1 size up from normal

Pricey - when I got them they were one of the best £90 I've spent on cycling!

Do these need overshoes in really filthy weather or do you reckon some sealskinz socks and these would be a good combo? Hate overshoes a lot, but hate cold feet on long rides more.

No need for overshoes with these as they are waterproof & warm.
Though if you want the ultimate 'warm' feet during winter, you want a pair of these:

excellently warm shoes - i wear a 46 in them , 44 in other shimano shoes. ..

wore overshoes with them at puffer 😉 but thats the only time!

do exactly as they say on the tin - warm dry feet
