Wa gwan.

I'm a big fan of Tenn Protean waterproof shorts. I know, cool story bro....but anyway, they have 15% off until Sunday I think it is.

Makes the shorts under £20

Code is PAYDAY02

The shorts are really decent, not quite as good as my Attacks but they're about half the price and they do the job

I'd be much happier with my Tenn waterproof shorts if they weren't so short. While pedalling they ride up way above knee so no good for cold weather.

Not used shorts but have a pair of their padded tights. For the money I have no complaints. The pad is possibly a little thick and therefore could be more comfortable but all in all they do shortish rides up to a couple of hours. I have better fitting shorts but they cost a lot more. I'd buy another pair

Top Tip

Measure your waist with a tape measure then check out their sizing chart before you order

Saves disappointment when you have to return them due to not fitting

I'm a 34in waist in jeans, have been for years, measured my waist and it comes up as 40in!! so i had to buy 3xl Tenn shorts

Turns out jean manufacturers measurements aren't accurate!!!

I was getting about 3 rides out of a pair of tenn waterproof shorts before the seams failed.

they replaced them every time, but I got bored of sending shorts back.

Might give the £20 waterproof shorts another go, but I guess they are cheap for a reason.

I have to say mine only lasted a few rides, certainly no more than 6 before they fell apart. I guess I should have sent them back but just threw them away in disgust.

My experience also.

Same here, mine wore through on the seams after about a dozen commutes. Used a lot of the rest of their kit and it's pretty good just the waterproof shorts have let me down.

As others have already said, I found their shorts to be rubbish & they started leaking after a few long rides. You gets what you pay for I suppose ...

Weird..

I've worn mine almost every week for about a year I'd say. Defo getting thinner but still have life.

They are decent budget kit. I used to have quite a bit of their kit but not much now. Waterproof shorts worked well for me. Other stuff was ok but for the money Decathlon was better.

Having short legs, I find the opposite - if they did a shorter, less baggy version, I'd buy a couple of pairs, as I find the lining and overall quality to be pretty good.

I am entering my third season with both a pair of Tenn bib tights and bib shorts, and both are still going strong.

I have no reason not to keep buying them when the current ones wear out.

So am I. I'll be interested to see how they fit. Their winter long bib tights are decent enough.
