Not sure where to post this, but here we go:
Definitely not a biker's description, and when asked about the paperwork for the bike the seller became quite funny in his replies.
Where else can this be posted online?
It has slightly scrache too. Never a good sign. Can you report the listing directly to eBay?
Seller has many bikes.....
Fishier than a fishy thing.
https://stolen-bikes.co.uk worth a try, maybe.
Bloody hell.
He has got a lot of bikes for sale!
Either buys them from police auctions (giving him the benefit here....) or they must be nicked surely?
As said, really doesn't sound like he even rides bikes from the descriptions.
Based in Donny......
Yep, that's what I thought, not a biker.
Did not check his other items though.
Looks very dodgy.
The bike in question has been picked up by Stolen Bikes system - apparently it's been listed on gumtree, too.
He seems to have taken a few of those photos at the market in Doncaster, there is a bike stall tucked away in the corner that is frequented by chavs and generally has a load of crap bikes. He might have got lucky with the Norco.
I live about a 10 minute walk away and am off to the market tomorrow for some fruit and veg, I will pop over and look at his stock.
What I am saying is lots of those bikes are probably stolen judging by his clientele, but he has being selling them for years on that stall.
Then again I am assuming it is the guy who owns the stall it is more likely he lives on the street opposite the market and takes his photos leant up against the stall.
If he does live opposite which judging by the pics he does then these are 100% stolen goods.
Copley Road or Harrington Street would be my guess.
Whats with the photos of Britney and the flowers on the Trek WSD road bike he's selling.
Make it more female friendly, that Britney is every girls icon?
To be fair mentals always do well on eBay though
Even crap mentals?
Especially crap mentals judging by some of the folk I’ve had to deal with in the past
Definately stolen. The 7 thimbles probably are as well.
Going in to Sellers Other Items is like walking in to the worlds maddest pawn shop. I’m so tempted to buy the thimbles though. Trust me, rocking a handful of thimbles (especially retro ones) is the next big trend.
Remember where you heard it first.
It has a TF tuned sticker on it so probably not hard to track the owner through the service record of the cane creek shock if it is stolen and makes it pretty recognisable.
Only matching frame I could see a stolen "advert" for was over in Lancashire so not a million miles away but it had a Fox fork and shock fitted.
If it is stolen then this goes to show why it's so important to get info out there ASAP, that bike could easily be reunited with it's owner.
