I fancied trying 2.6 tyres and these came up. £35 posted for a pair (with 10% GETCYCLING discount), can't be bad!

That is pretty good - be interested to know how big the 2.6 comes up
I'm hoping to squeeze them on some 45mm rims so they'll likely be fairly big although possibly a little square!
62mm across the tread shoulders on a 30mm rim - a touch larger casing overall than an Ardent 2.4 and it's a taller tyre eg the corner shoulder a greater radius from axle. Good tyres for general trail riding imo, great for the money.
Prob quite squared off on a 45mm, they're getting a bit that way on 30mms.
Sorely tempted but I don't need any more spare tyres!
I've already got a set of unused 2.4" Purgatory's in the spares pile!
I have this on the back of my hardtail Gripton is T7 I was well pleased when I paid £22 for 1
decent width; 2.6 is more like maxxis 2.4
Great tyre, Id say grid trail for a bit of extra support wouldve been better but for this money Ill live with a few extra PSI !
I have one on the back in of my G13 and hardtail.
They are a bit slidey in mud, but other than that great.
They were around 22 quid from Rutland in the new T7 grid flavour. Bargain for a great tyre.
Cheap because there is a new 2.4 that replaces the 2.3 and 2.6. Has an updated tread design and is available in T7 or T9 with grid or grid trail casing.
