I'd been looking for replacements for my sadly deceased AM50s for a while. Had coveted the AM51s but with a retail of £120 I'd struggled to find them for less than about £99 - way beyond my budget.
Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon AM51s at Planet X for only £65. In normal sizes (42-46) as opposed to most discounted shoes which are suitable only for the freakishly tall or stunted dwarfs.
The 46s are all gone now but here's the LINK
I have a pair of these and each shoe has a hole on each side where the front synthetic leather ends and the side panels starts. There is a thin mesh section joining the two that splits over time leaving you with holes that keep on growing which is a shame as other then that the shoes where good.
My previous pair of Shimano shoes are at least 5 years old and only needed the sole siliconing back on at the front at the start of this year.
