£15.99 for me, 20% off that makes £12.80. Still not bad

I'd get one if:
1) I hadn't just bought a new cassette
2) it wasn't dinner plate sized
3) it didn't double the weight of my bike

HG50 is Alivio and it's the same price at CRC and has been for a while.

at CRC they are £14.99 not £11.99

brakes thanks for your... constructive comments

apologies, I was just surprised at the weight of them when I held one in my hand.
I'll add a positive:
4) it makes your Hope Pro II hub sound twice as loud as XT.

That's just the noise of it eating your alloy freehub... 😥

That'd be perfect for my ancient CX bike - doesn't need top end kit but a cheapo 9sp cassette with a wide range on it will do the job nicely. 🙂

Shimano's website states HG50 is Alivio click

HG50 was originally Deore but when Alivio went to 9 speed it was chucked into that groupset.
