In case people haven’t seen it, there’s a cool wee documentary ‘Safety to Nome’ on Amazon Prime about the Iditarod Race, which focuses on the participants in the full 1,000 mile trip by fat bike.
Great film.
They are all unhinged.
Thank you
Thanks for the PSA inspirational stuff, I think I might go plan something stupid.
To think I make a big deal in my head about completing the sdw...
Cheers op, added to the watch list.👍
Is anyone seeing it available for free? I'm only seeing as rent or purchase, or free with a 7-day "Sports" trial. Looks cool though - thanks for the headsup!
It’s included with prime on my account.
Free with Prime. Might be on YouTube maybe?
Prime does have a few decent similar bike films as well
It was posted on here not too long back. Great little insight into it.
I was watching these guys this morning actually. Quite an interesting bike check from a veteran of the race and from one of the youngest.
I thought he was doing it on a Calibre Dune for a minute 😂
Really good watch that. Was certainly on Prime a couple of weeks back. The prevalence of frostbite injuries is pretty scary.
Weird - searching differently got me to the free with Prime version. But I'm also being offered the not free version. Thanks for the tip - will watch tonight!
watched it a few weeks back, great documentary. The older chap who's having his first go at it on a fat bike (forget his name now) is still adventure racing now!!
Jacob Hora won the full Fat Pursuit, run by Jay Petervary, this year so he's no slouch.
Interesting that the 350 is an out and back this year, just heading as far as Rone.
