I am tempted, but recently got a replacement 36 rhythm as the replacement on the ebike, and it s was only 60 quid less that that ultimate. Hey ho, made our choices, and I want a new buffalo shirt anyhows.

Hope everyone who orders gets, certainly best fork deal currently out there.

You'll likely recoup 30 notes on pinkbike for the old one

It's the old model with the clearly inferior Charger 2.1 damper and without buttercups.

Is it really “clearly inferior”?

Anyway, I’m going to pretend I haven’t seen this thread, I’ve wanted these ones for a while.

Gutted I missed these, been after a set of the older lyriks as they still go to 170mm for a build.

I paid the same earlier this week for a set of new select+ off ebay

Akin to the tyre thread, can everyone notice subtle differences in dampers?

I've recently taken a set of 2019 RC?? Debonair Lyriks off my Kenevo and they were feeling great tbh and not a million miles away from the 38's I've put on - abeit 'different'. They did feel noticeably better when I first got them than the Lyriks on my 2016 Capra though.

I'm sure a lot of peoples perceptions of how amazing the next new damper is, is sometimes maybe down to subtle changes in set up.

Don't get me started on Fox 38's with HSC/LSC, HSR/LSR and about a million combinations of clicks to play with. They seem pretty dialled at the moment though. BUT, they can feel amazing on one bit of terrain, yet less than amazing on another. I'm not suspension savvy enough to know exactly what to change on the fly (yes, I have a vague idea)

This previous gen Lyrik was an excellent fork, the damper was great and the air spring worked well for me.

The buttercups in the new forks do have a subtle effect, I think, but are certainly not a must-have. And they are countered by the new forks riding a bit firmer generally.

Did anybody buy one and get confirmation of dispatch??

Mine is still showing as processing despite having Wiggle+ so it technically should have been delivered today.

@kelvin simple arithmetic tells you the new damper is 0.9 better... 😬

Of course! 38% betterer!

The 2.1 is very good. I wouldn't consider it a downgrade if happens to be the cheapest way to go... in fact others who've spent more time on both have said they prefer it in the Lyrik. The Zeb with 3.0 is amazing though... run it soft and the damping works hard for you, without you really noticing.

Mine has just turned up unexpectedly after still showing as processing on the website. Anyone have a suitable 150mm air shaft to buy? Thanks OP.

some pikesat 140

Those are for OEM build kits for bikes.

Doesn't bode well for Vitus/Nukeproof as an ongoing concern.

They (Lyriks) must be running low as they've jumped to £385 - already had them in my basket at £299, so just hit send and snagged them for that

@whatyadoinsucka that's the thing with deals they tend to not hang around

There was only 8 pairs available at the time of my post

I  sure they'll be more deals coming

The lyrik select isn't that good a deal at nearly 400 notes I wouldn't bother

As for the charger 3 with buttercups  it just eats up that fist bit of travel meaning it feels ggreat for suppleness but you feel like you need to run an extra 10mm travel fork or up the pressure more than needed
