Don't know how to do the link thing but Freewheel have a sale on PI stuff 60% off. I bought a pair of Summit Trail Pants 🙄 and a pair of Amphib Winter ones , somehow I got an extra discount and in total I paid £98 for both pairs ! 😎
So called over £250 worth 👍

@rockandrollmark How did you get the extra 15% ... or was it just applied unexpectedly and automatically?

Thanks for the heads up op!
Several pairs of trousers ordered to try.

The extra 15% was automatic for me at checkout. Suspect it's if you go over a threshold, guessing £100 maybe?

Maybe it just liked me? Discount was applied at checkout.

I did a search for discount codes and found 15% off MISSYOU, which it seemed to stack against another automatic 15% off when over £100!

2 pairs of shorts (one to go back when tried on), 1 pair cargo bibs, 1 T shirt, 2 pair of gloves, £115 (after discounts).

Sweet cheers OP.

I can't work out from the website, do we pay for return postage or is there a label in the package to cover this?

Think it said returns are free, when I checked last night. https://www.freewheel.co.uk/faq-returns-refunds
How do I return something to you?
• Returns are FREE
• You have 28 days from the item being delivered to you or available for collection to return it for a refund.
• Refunds are made to the original method of payment and can take up to 10 working days to show on your account.

What do I need to do?
Simply use one of the returns labels that is included in your package. Instructions are included on the order invoice and labels.

Dont think my extra 15% went through actually so just the one 15% discount rather than stacking 2....

Hmm.

The 'MISSYOU' code someone posted above no longer seem to work, it did initially a couple of hours ago when I checked but I didn't complete the order now its saying not valid.

I also signed up under a different email for the 15% new members offer, got a code, and that doesn't work either. 🤷‍♂️

New members codes cannot be used against Bikes, Frames, Garmin or Thule and products already discounted.

I ordered a few bits.
The missyou code worked initially - I then procrastinated about whether to add a couple of items & when I ended up going back to the checkout, it was no longer valid. Hey ho, still a good saving.

Yeah the MISSYOU one showed up initially for me, along with an automatic 15% discount which also said something along the lines of "welcome back", but then must have been removed just before I paid as it's not showing on the email comfirmation.

Still got one 15% discount though on top of the already discounted prices.

@oldfart - I reckon I've got your order.

Gonna contact Freewheel now and return them unless you happen to be in Leeds and get my stuff today....

My stuff arrived today.

In normal run of the mill T Shirts from Next/M&S etc I would be a medium

Mens Pro Jersey Large -too small X Large - fits arms/shoulders but too long length. This is obviously their skinny racer range

Expedition Jersey - Large fits very well and feels nice too !

I also bought some road mits which are nice for the money.

I think I will be sending back both pro jerseys

Nope order arrived today , both pairs fit so well they could be made to measure ! ✊️I reckon you’ll do ok out of that , a couple years back I ordered a pair of Madison shorts and some winter socks Freewheel sent 2 pairs of each , I phoned them to explain them said thank you for being honest it’s not worth the hassle of getting them back you keep them seeing as you’ve been honest ! 😬

Well, that was a waste of effort 😆

Ordered my usual sizes as per the size guides (m), but

The Attack jersey is way too small. The zip is about 8" from joining. I can do it up with a lot of stretching but it looks painted on.
Likewise, the Attack bibs barely go over my thighs and I don't have very big legs.
Probably need xl in those but then I imagine the fit in other areas would be too big.

I got the expedition shell shorts in 32 & 34 to try out the best size.
Because the waist band has no elastic in it whatsoever the 32s dig in when in a riding position, while the 34s won't stay up when standing 🙄

I think I'll stick to my tried & tested dhb, Endura & Decathlon stuff.

My Phantom Troos are a perfect fit. Even nicely fit over my [s]fat arse[/s] large posterior.
Very pleased.

(they enclose a prepaid return label - choice of RM or DPD)

Thanks OP, good PSA for me. Got expedition bib shorts, road gloves and lace up shoes delivered today. Bib shorts quite snug but comfy on lunch ride today. Not sure if I would pay rrp though.

Thanks for the PSA. Am Fib pants and elevate shorts in a size that fits my post covid gut. Nice material and good quality. Only concerns are the liner on the shorts being big and the system to tighten them up looks like it isn't going to work too well with a hip pack.

Unfortunatley they asked me to send them back. Far too skinny for me anyway!! I've ordered shorts in 36 & 38 to see which fit, but from some of the posts up there I might be sending both back.....

Anyone tried their launch or summit long pants, if so what are they like for waist sizing and leg length, I'm normally a 34 waist in jeans and a minimum 34 leg.
Also like the sound of the launch shell short with 15" inseam?

Didn’t see this when it first got posted - just has a quick look as I fancy a new road top and seems the prices are really good. Been hankering after a black short sleeves castelli top for a while but can’t justify the cost of them. Found an all black PI one that looks a similar style for just over £20. No idea how they size up so orders a medium and a large and Hope one of them fits and send the other back. I’m 5’9 / 75kgs so would be a medium in most normal / mtb clothes but road stuff always seems to come up a bit race snake like - which I’m definitely not.

Summit shorts down to £20

Does anyone know how the kneepads size up?

Summit shorts and kneepads are both really nice

Kneepads in particular nice and breezy on last night's very warm ride

Still some real bargains here - Launch shorts are still £32. Size up as normal.

The lycra bibs are top quality but come up very slightly small. I'm normally probably at the upper end of medium and while they fitted me a quick road fake commute was enough to convince me I actually need large.

So have a pair of the Medium Pro Bib shorts (£189 down to £76) if anyone wants them for £60 posted (worn for an hour, washed).

Anyone want to swap a size 30 expedition short for a 32? I got the latter, but they're just a bit loose without a belt so reckon I could get into 30. Been worn a few times but no noticeable wear.

Bought a hoodie, two t-shirts, a pair of arm warmers, a beanie hat and a tubeless repair kit all for less than £50. Arrived pretty sharpish too.

Then headed over to Wiggle to buy a long sleeved jersey for 50% off. 👌

Mrs_oab is turning into Pearl Izumi model. One of the few companies that make XS which fit petite ladies well...

...and the XS women's tends to be the most discounted too. 😎
