I know these sorts of “compressors” have been recommended on here before but I recently bought the Ozito one from CPC for £40.

Apart from it being incredibly noisy (97db) it’s very good. Comes with a 3m hose and a decent feeling trigger and accessories including a presta converter. Pumps up my 29” 2.5 tyres from flat to 30psi in about 30 seconds. I wasn’t sure how powerful it would be but it’s way more than a standard 12v tyre pump. Great value for £40 if you don’t want the full on tank type and just want it for tyres.
Will be interesting to see how quick it is for pumping up the paddling pool next summer.
We've got that one too, really good vfm
Looks the same as the ones that Aldi have now and then. Great for popping on tyres although our pressure gauge has seen better days, Probably due to the fact that it keeps been dropped on the flour. Ours is mounted on two cradle brackets on the garage wall to keep it out of the way.
Yep, worth getting.
If it is the same as the Aldi one ,it is indeed very bloody noisy.
Same as the Aldi one. The “gun” doesn’t last very long and the pressure gauge is miles out.
Other than that it’s great for the money. (The Aldi one at £30ish)
Re: paddling pool inflation, obviously you want to use the item you've just bought but homebase have the Ozito inflator that looks like the sort of thing you'd use for airbeds and pools reduced to 6 quid.
Would this have enough oomphh to seat tubeless tyres ?
Not had any problems seating tubeless. Does them in seconds. Done four over the weekend. We also have one in the camper mainly for race weekends.
Thanks, might have to get one then.

On the plus side, unlike a lot of small compressors it's a standard gun so easily replaced.
Two cheap u hooks. It sits in it like a cradle. I don't need to take it out of them in the garage but it comes in useful for the car tyres on the drive.
The one in the camper is held under the bed with bungees.
