Scandals going cheap along with a few other frames.

Bagged a Scandal which I've never had before tis been a very long time since buying from them 1/2 price  can't be bad.

They've been overpriced for a very long time, so they needed to be cheaper! Ragleys still a better deal than the scandal though...

But potentially more of a gamble on warranty. I mean, this is PX so even if ragley go in a puff of smoke it's still only 50/50 odds the warranty will be worse 😉

I've had and in the past a few frames and still have an on-one amongst others, planet X honoured their warranty when I had a whippet fail on me many years go,no problems my end, sometimes the haterz just gotta hate most have never had too make a claim, band waggons an all that .

It's a winter hack, not an overpriced SC chameleon.

Bit fugly but 'itll do'

Scandal is a great frame, let’s see it when it’s built up!

Ooh, tempted! Had a look, I know they bump the price just before a sale, but since when was a Huntsman frame £879!?

Without sounding like I'm slating them.

Geared inbred suffered the chainsuck plague and dirty Harry's headset came loose as tolerances were not good to say the least.

Service was bit shoddy too

Can't help but think the bulk buy by Brant and Co. helped him turn to selling niche cotton trousers. He must be laughing all ...

Soz in cynical mood though do admire his journey through bike industry - call it love/ hate

Just had a look, what's with the gusset on the BB and the angle of that seat tube?

The only thing I'm tempted by is the Mulo but they don't seem to have a fork to go with it and much as I'd like to do a spares bin SSCX build I don't think I can be arsed and it would end up costing more than it should to assemble.

I once bought a bike and it broke.

I bought it from a guy who hadn't worked in the bike industry since 2019*.

Was it you? Could I have a refund please?

Will try superstu,it'll be a spares bin build some new/old.

Built more so for the lad as he grew out of the last MTB,I've a few rides that are just a smidge too big presently for him and this'll also do for the me  as I've no multi geared hardtail MTB atm.

They've got some neck eh.

I'd rather buy a (cheaper) Ragley, even with the current uncertainty.

Common career strategy in my field (Civil Service) too. Move on & absolve yourself of accountability before the mistakes catch up with you 😉

I've had a scandal since they were first released. It was meant to be a winter hack but it's so good that it got upgraded and I use it more than all my other bikes.

I've used it for gravel, mtb, commuting and Bikepacking. It's carried a lot of weight and done some pretty hard riding.

For the money it's an absolute bargain. If it had a santa cruz logo on it, you would ad a zero to the price tag.
