Use the code PR12DWHEETYRES and get them for £17.59 today only.

Code also works on all wheels and tyres at onone / planetx.

Maybe okay for a rear but I strongly disliked mine for a front.

I appreciate that there are those that get on fine with them but they weren't for me.

Ridiculous price though!

Weren't they originally listed as RRP £80? (Though of course they were on sale at £40 from day one of availability)

Wheels too, making a fatty trail build look appealing at the moment,

OO wheels and tyres, fatty trail frame, Bluto RCT3 from elsewhere for £400, X9 chainset for £90, headset, and the rest (drivechain brakes and finishing kit) from the spares box or a donor bike and you could build it for <£900.

Fat bikes are all about that base, try tuning the tyre pressure so it rebounds in b-flat.

On pre order at them moment.

Regardless, I reckon even without using spare bits you could build to the same prices they offer complete bikes at now (and have the better forks).

I'm currently using a Maxis Mammoth and on Sunday in the rain and mud it was downright scary how little grip there was. I was hoping fat tyres would improve grip in these conditions but I've had more grip from - well any other Tyre actually. If the bigger nobbles on the floater improve things I'm willing to accept a bit of self steer.

Floaters aren't really a mud tyre, they're a good all round trail tyre really. For mud get a Bud (and don't look at the price).

For £17.59 they are an excellent mud tyre!

I'm currently using a Maxis Mammoth

You're braver than me, a mammoth is like an old fashioned semi slick!

trust me its not staying on
Cant see what the point of them is - When it eventually drys out the fat bike will return to the garage

Excellent dry conditions summer tyre.

But come on, be realastic, you need a tyre with paddles the size of a big paddly thing in this weather

Thanks for the PSA, tempted to order 10 at that price. I've used them in wet, dry, gravel, mud, etc. and find them to be pretty damn good, if a little heavy but then what do you expect from a 4" tyre! 😀
