They don't help themselves do they 🤣 Why did they not just make it expensive from day 1 like everyone else, a Bird Zero 29 is £475, no one complains.

Although TBH the only people that seem to care are STWers...........

They get roasted in the comments on their own FB promos for shit like this.

It's quite satisfying to see.

On-Onenomics at it again. I'll wait for the inevitable 1 day price drop (again) on the Big Dog frame maybe. Unless other bikes start appearing back in stock again.

I'm hoping the reopening of shops will mean stock will be replenished before all the knee jerk bike purchases suddenly appear on Facebook Marketplace

So was this a psa because op didn't know they were previously half price at around £150 or he did know and this is a tongue-in-cheek swipe at onone pricing? 🤯

I can't decide which would be better actually.

Given that it's not actually even an original joke, I'm going with:

null

Not even an original, original joke for that poster 🤣

Tried to buy one in their flash sale for £140 including postage over 2 weeks ago. Bargain! Except they had already sold the frame but kept my money. Been battling for a refund ever since but they are now ignoring me. I'm going to send a written demand with a deadline and a notice of intent of court action if they don't respond to my messages today.

They don't help themselves do they, but I'm guessing it must work for some people or why would they do it?  50% off? Quick let's buy 2!

Maybe they are just cashing in on the fact no one else has any stock and they do so they are flogging as many as they can before everyone else gets their stock levels back up?

Yeah, now that they're a co-op you're only hurting the workers.

Bootzipper is now down to £350, frame and forks. Is this back to the "normal" price?

IIRC it was £200 before PX lockdown inflation.

Was that the 29er or 650b version?

I remember seeing the 650b version going cheap but I'm not certain whether the 29er version was £200.

Aside from wheel size I think the 29er is boost spacing while the 650b version is non boost.

Regarding the Scandal, if I remember correctly it was £150 pre order but should have been £250 or £275 at regular price. With the state of the economy I don't think £300 seems unreasonable. I know it was £150 with headset for a bit but it was stupidly cheap at that price. I considered it myself but went for a Big Dog instead. Heavier than the Scandal and with more limited tyre clearance but I really like it.
