Do it. That's the same deal I got on mine last year. Most fun bike ever.

Expect:
Tyres don't fit, well they do, and they're not as baggy as people say, it's the shape of the rim that stops them seating properly unless you go tubeless, and those rims aren't the easiest to get tubeless.

Bars are too wide, I'm down to 777 which seems about right.

You need to put a small zip tie on the BB axle (or anything else about 4mm wide) to act as a spacer to stop the top-hat migrating out of the bearing because for whatever reason the X5 axles are way too long.

Mudguards and over trousers. Twice the tyre size means ten times the mud!

OK. They're not very good. Very heavy, sluggish steering and response, low quality tyres. Get a Charge Cooker Maxi instead.
I've ridden a fair few fat bikes by now and the worst was the On One (Best was Cannonade FYI)

Charge cooker maxi are the ones that have all cracked & been warranty cases though, so watch for that

As for sluggish steering, In snow maybe, for trail riding it's perfect, but how many ride snow 100% of the time?

This, really gives a noticebly better ride than the steel forks.

Aside from my first floater, which actually exploded (not just a little bulge, it pulled itself apart from the bead and went BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM). I've not had any of those problems. The steering is more 'trail' than 'XC', but at the speeds those tyres encourage through corners that's no bad thing!

Which also weigh a ton; but make sure you don't get the older frame with the 135mm spacing.

Get one if you have space in the shed. The carbon forks are noticeably smoother and at £75 a straight up bargain.
