mbr and road.cc reviews very favourable bar price which the 50% off seems to address?

agreed @natrix turned my drivetrain to black grime, and it took ages to get off..

i do like the "bike protect" spray, once cleaned, a few sprays of this an a wipe down with an asda's own (£3 for 5, rather than the muc-off £7.99) microfibre cloths

@wwaswas yeah i guess i'd want an independent review, rather than a magazine that sells advertising space to these brands, although it seems everyones opinion is different on sealants, depending how they ride and tyre rim combo

I've also been looking at the oko fibre at £9.99 on planetX plus £3.95 delivery, not sure which is best

mucoff well over priced and their wet chain lube is shit.

Wet lube was the first muc off product I've tried for years and I wont be 'trying' them for anything else at all now.  Over priced over marketed tat sadly.

Muc-off wet lube has its place. If I was going to do 200k in one hit in a welsh winter it would last the distance, or maybe put it on an unloved commuter bike. Would I put it anywhere near a "nice" bike for a day out? No chance! It does smell nice though. Pineapples I think.

I got a crap load of mucoff this time last year around black Friday. I rate all the stuff I've had from them, it all works better than anything else I've tried and it's more stomachable when its 50% off.

I've not really noticed any issues with the wet lubs tbh but what is everyone else using.

Cheers - Ordered some of their chamois cream (excellent) and sealant (very well reviewed). Quite reasonable at 50% off.

yeah the chamois cream is great, as is protector spray

for winter lube i use

weldtite TF2 1 litre aprox £14-16 a litre and a small bottle applicator, i wash the bikes most weeks, so reapply frequently, the chain is still silver rather than stained black that i find mucoff leaves it

the chamois cream is great, -  definitely, huge tub too (but from CRC, not Muc-off site..)

Plus the Bio grease is really good and smells lovely.

I'm so tempted by their 250ml bottle of Dot4 brake fluid.  At £20.

Once it's 50% off it's only about 4x the price you can pick the stuff up from an auto place for.

I'm not that impressed with the muc off sealant so far. Could be me though!

according to this research paper (p55), Muc Off wet lube is close to being the best product for reducing friction.

Similar prices at Halfords and tredz if anyone doesn't want to order so much to get free postage.

I ordered a few bits as its 50% off.

The wet lube I bought last year is reserved for really grotty days and applied very sparingly but it does a pretty damn good job. Nothing is as bad as Finish Line wet lube for turning a chain into a black sticky mess.

Mucoff is close to Finish Line wet TBF.

My bits arrived this morning, now to forget I ordered them so I can be surprised on Xmas morning.
