Highlights of the Pioneer stage race from New Zealand about to start at 7:05. I can't vouch for the quality of the program but an hour of mountain biking on TV seems worth a shout.
Thanks for the heads up, currently watching Paw Patrol. Some distraction techniques may be necessary.
Ha Ha!! Ditto ^^ Paw Patrol is always gonna win ....I'll look for it on catch up. Ta for the tip though! cheers
I'm on tele tubbies, a total breakdown may happen if I change channels. There's always 4OD
How gorgeous is new zealand?!!
Any one else Googled this to find out more??
I was paw patrolled too.
It's on so much in here that my dug thinks he is one of them!
Cheers, great show amd what a legend that guy with the Bee sting!
I should have known most of those who are up at this time on a Saturday may not have control of the remote!
I quite enjoyed that anyway, incredible scenery and as said above some inspiring stories. It has motivated me to get off the sofa and get the bike fixed to get out for a ride.
Just starting on c4+1
Nice to see someone doing what TransRockies decided there was no market for
Cheers! Just the tonic. Wet and miserable here today.
Oooh....just realized i've raced against those Kona boys in 2 Transrockies! Used to see them at the start and finish of every day
Stunning scenery! Thankfully my son loves anything Mtb related so I could ditch octonaughts and he was fine! The race made me king for those early morning starts to races and the camaraderie you get!
Wow, the bee sting guy. Excellent shout.
Lots of short travel FS 29ers. Lovely scenary.
Completion not competition, love it.
Did anyone see the chap running a Specialized Epic (I think) with rigid forks and a metal brace instead of a shock? Is that a swap people make for easier stages?
Would love to have a go at one of these races one day, if I ever get close to that level of fitness.
Thanks for the heads up. What a beautiful place.
Started talking the wife into letting me go for my 40th
That nutter on the single speeder...

..500km in 7days, nope, never gonna happen...ever.
The Pioneer was a great event and I would certainly recommend it to people.
One of the tougher ones, but physically and not technically. The scenery was stunning.
Lots of climbing, super hot and dry and some days were rough which made it slow going.
The rigid epic... no one knew why he was doing it. Very odd.
