Land fill.
Very poor quality very short lasting stuff.
-spoken as someone who's bought two sets ..... And now bought a pcl that's lasted much longer than either of the Lidl ones.
Gauges stop working and the internals start leaking leading to your compressor coming on often .
But it's very cheap if that floats your boat.
It looks the same as my Aldi one that's been blowing up tubeless tyres for years and has yet to let us down.
That would Suggest poor quality control then if some are good and some are bad. I mean they last 6-8 months before going bad but not very robust and they still work they just don't hold air or tell you what pressures going in.
We run the same system in the camper and its been a god send at race events both in the UK and Europe. It's surprising how popular you get on a race campsite when they see the compressor commingled out. We even bought a spare tool just in case and it's still in the box.
To me it's a tool to get the air from the compressor to the tyre and pop it on as quick as possible so the accuracy of the guage isn't a problem as the tyres are fine tuned down to the running pressure with a digital guage.
We must be lucky or you unlucky 😉
I'm with trail rat .these are generic landfill .you can buy these anywhere .they are made by the same factory in quindou for just about everyone.
I bought mine from Screwfix branded sceppach but there the same people who make the parkside stuff etc
If you use it once or just once in a blue moon it may be ok
The quality is poor but the biggest issue is the guage was so far out of calibration my local car dealer asked me what I carried in the car to use 40psi in my tyres.
The screw on end would always come loose too
Got the screwfix kit...gauge is worryingly poor but it is infrequent use and I have other gauges that are far more accurate so not an issue for me. The kit was cheap so I'm not expecting it to last for a long time.
Same as Tracey- only interested in whacking up tubeless tyres, use the track pump for the exact pressure.
Ace bit of kit- no way I could get my poorly prepped wheels up without it.
Had mine years and perfect for tubeless and to dry the bike, especially the chain.
As Tracey says, if you treat it as a tool to get the air from A to B it’s just about ok. The gauge is just a toy though.
Cheers Tracey, had my Lidl compressor for years & fufill my requirements just fine. Only issue I have is the connectors are of a bizarre type, that stumped even a local compressor specialist. So I'm after that kit & as the jokers on eBay want double that, it's a great psa
Good to know. Our local had a box full of different compressor adaptors that didn't seem to be advertised
Mines been great for many years. I used to use it to also blow dry the bikes until I discovered a pet hair drier.
The spray paint gun also made staining 15 fence panels light work for the wife last summer. Can fault for what it does.
I’ve just bought this set as I didn’t have a hose for mine https://www.lidl.co.uk/en/MiddleofLidl.htm?articleId=20208.
Will that do for tubeless presta as I’ve always just used a home made 2l coke bottle compresso? seen these and thought may aswell use my proper one.
Yes, that'll do the job...don't expect it it last as long as you live and you'll be fine.
