Just a heads up for anyone planning a trip to Kirroughtree and looking to do the black in the next couple of months - the Heartbreak Hill/Black Craigs/ Talnotry hill sections are closed until the end of October due to forestry work
The website mentions this work but the description of affected sections is pretty bad (just mentions the markers). Also, the information board at the trail head confusingly says that all trails are open.

Thanks for that. Was just thinking that I haven't been there for ages; not worth going at the moment with most of the best closed!

how bad is the logging think of going up there in the next couple of weeks?
