Just had an email from Islabikes saying that there have been some issues reported with Cnoc 14 and 16 handlebars that may have been damaged in transit:
Important Safety Notice
Issued 7th September 2018
Cnoc 14 and Cnoc 16
Applies to Islabikes Cnoc 14 large and Cnoc 16 bikes sold from 1st April 2015.
It has come to our attention that it is possible for the handlebars on Cnoc 14 large and Cnoc 16 bikes to be damaged in transit.
We have received two reports of handlebars being snapped on arrival with the customer and one report where a handlebar snapped in use, causing slight injuries to the child rider.
In this latter case we believe the handlebar received a significant blow in transit, causing a crack that subsequently resulted in the handlebars failing in use.
It is possible that your bike's handlebars may have received a similar blow in transit and could be unsafe to use.
Please follow the link to full instructions for checking your handlebars.
If you have any queries regarding this please contact us:

Thank you for your prompt attention, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
