Out riding last night and had a look at the new Hinks Lodge cycling centre near Ashby. Had a quick half hour giggle on the mini berms and jumps of the blue trail. By no stretch of the imagination is this a destination for anyone expecting hardcore MTB action, but I reckon if you've got a family, and especially kids looking for their first steps towards MTB-ing, this would be great.
It's only just opened I think. There's a cafe and bike shop thing by the looks of it. Be nice to support cool initiatives like this...
