Just bought myself a windproof jacket and mountain bike trousers (or pants as our American and Mancunian friends call them) for half price.

Some decent looking kit for sale.

Nice one, I've been looking for some riding pants to try out. Good prices. All the giro gear I've had in the past has been decent

Got the Ambient jacket with the extra 10% for signing up to the news letter so £55. Ordered between Christmas and new year so still waiting for it to turn up though.

Those Havoc troos look alright for 53.99. I'll do what I always do with a PSA and mull it over until they're out of stock. That way you save even more money.

Nice PSA. I've been after a waterproof jacket for a while. The Havoc H2O jacket at £90 less 10% looks like a good deal. Free delivery and returns too!

Ambient jacket has shown up today. Very nicely made, good fitting with a base layer underneath and good sized hood too. If it is as water and windproof as the reviews say it’ll be the perfect autumn and spring jacket for me.

Thanks OP. New Havoc trousers and thermal jersey on the way. Good cashack as well through Topcashback. Got £24 in cashback on my order.

Anyone tried the Havoc Trousers?

Had some for a while now, excellent quality and decent length legs, which is a novelty, I wear them in all conditions, even though they're not waterproof, recommended

decent length legs

Sounds like they're not for me then. I'm struggling to find something to fit my large waist / short legs combo. My current O'Neal Trailfinders fit perfectly, but have recently developed a hole. Alpkit Floe are the only ones I've seen offering different length options, but they're all sold out of short.

Been out for the first ride in the Ambient jacket. Absolutely brilliant, weather was breezy, showers on and off and muddy trails. Temp about 5 degrees.

Was perfectly warm all the way round on the 90 minute ride, the jacket shed water and mud very well, stayed dry throughout and was completely windproof as well. Only had a long sleeve riding jersey on underneath, so not even a base layer thermal and remained nice and warm without any overheating on the climbs. Suspect it would be a bit hot in warmer weather but easy to vent with the main zip. Thoroughly recommended.

Received my order yesterday and am impressed with both the jacket and trousers so far. Both the quality and fit are good.

Trousers are the 'Havoc Pant' and I'm 5'11" with a 32" waist. The 32" waist Havocs are a good fit for me. I'm my opinion you could definitely fit knee pads underneath although not tried yet.

Jacket is the 'Chrono Expert Wind jacket in large. Just what I need to replace my 6 year old (and very tired) 7 Mesh Northwoods jacket. I'll primarily use this on the road and on the Cross bike.

Just bought myself a windproof jacket to replace an old one, not sure if I need or want it, but I will wait and see, then decide when it arrives.

I have never had any Giro clothing before.

My wife won't be pleased with my cycle clothes buying over the lat week. I've now just bought a long sleeve trail/gravel jersey for half price.

"But they were all half price!"

Thanks for the PSA, got one of the windproof jackets.  Looks well made and has a nice fit, shame I’m going to put it in my pack and hope never to take it out again 😀

Tried the chrono experts. I think they might be, despite being the middle range ones, nicer than my rapha powerweaves. Cliffs: I don't get a hard-on for laser cut shoulder straps I just like lowers with no bag and a good pad.

I had my delivery yesterday, looks good quality kit. Unfortunately I took too long to press the order button so I could only get the excellent Havoc H20 jacket in XXL - and it's too big for me. Does anyone have a XL they want to swap, or pass on instead of sending back? Does anyone want a XXL before I send it back?
