I got one when they were £500, feel I've already had £50 worth out of it so not too upset that it's gone down again. It's a huge improvement over my old basic Elite trainer, and I actually really enjoy training sessions on it. I'm just using the elite software for now and following a 4 week program it's given me based on a fitness test.

I used mine hooked up to Zwift in the winter / foul weather for Training, its very awesome and a great training tool.

Blimey, paid £640 for mine Xmas 2017! Been great until very recently when I began training again after lurgy, when I notice the calibration offset has dropped ~7 points and now the power readings are nowhere near my 4iiii crank power meter, need to send Elite an e-mail to get a link to the belt tightening video.

Found this video online the other day BUT IT MISSES OUT THE VITAL STEP OF LOOSENING THE REGULATOR LOCK BEFORE PLAYING WITH THE BELT TENSION...

So this week, I've been using the 4iiii for power while on the turbo, ERG and slope simulation still works ok.

Ouch. I gave my mate that much for his 2nd hand! Basically unboxed and used once! Luckily we both know the LBS where it came from well and they were happy to acknowldge change of ownership for warranty purposes. Not that I have needed it yet. The machine has down thousands of kms now without problem, though there are some well documented issues you may wish to be aware of.

I see it shows it being tightened at the end so I assume just the reverse of that at the beginning.

Just been down to look at mine and it's actually different to that unit in the video. I can't see anyway to adjust anything externally.
