Sigmasport - Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, £199 but they have a discount at moment for £40 off baskets ofer £200. Just add an energy gel or something and use the code GIROFORTY at checkout
Which would also bring the Garmin 520 Plus to £220, I guess…
yeah i guess i should have just put PSA £40 off £200 spend as the title!
Though it doesn't seem to be working for me. Trying to buy a Garmin 130 plus some SIS. "not valid for this order"
Ok - has to be £200 without any sale products included.
Bez - what's the 520 plus like? thinking of replacing my (breaking) 200 with a 130 and continuing to rely on my Touring when i need nav.
did you make the basket over £200? I just checked with the 130 and 25 single gels and it worked
(I made it £200 with a discounted SIS powder, needed an undiscounted gel)
oh just remebered theres also a GIROTWENTY code for baskets under £200 so you could use that and get £20 off without adding stuff you dont really want?
(made sense for me though just to add and extra £1.25 to my bolt order to get the 40 quid off rather than 20 off)
Re the elemnt bolt, i googled i to see what it was and the first results are £50 cashback listings from wahoo's website. Damned if i can follow the links to something explanatory mind, but if you can works out cheaper still.
GAH!! Nice PSA, but I've been hovering over the buy button for the Elemnt Bolt on Wiggle as I have over £80 of Wiggle vouchers. But, it seems foolish to waste a £40 saving based on having some vouchers!
Might have to buy one this evening!
the wahoo cashback offer is only on the bigger, older, and more expensive (original) Elemnt , not the Bolt
Ah, that may explain why i struggled...

This looks like it's only on the Elemnt (which is £50 more than the Bolt) or the Elemnt bundle.
Here's a link that should make sense:

Bez – what’s the 520 plus like?
Dunno, I've only got the DCR hands-on article to go on. I contemplated ordering one but it looks like you can't pan the map and zoom looks hideously difficult (happy to be corrected) which fails my "ad hoc unavoidable diversions" use case. Other than that it looks great, assuming they've fixed the bug that Ray highlighted.
I've got a 1000 now; will see how that goes.
Eek - thats a lucky escape - was looking at that as well but assumed it had a touch screen.
130 for me. Sunlight readable and link to phone. Should be a good replacement for the 200 I use 90% of the time.

If you want the 520 with a touch screen (and a bit more), that's an 820 🙂
I quite liked my 200, but the lack of cue points, its crazy all-or-nothing auto zoom with no manual override, and its odd choice of data fields all irked a bit. Managed to navigate a 500km route on it, though, so it can't have been bad. At least it was rock-solid reliable, which is unusual for a Garmin 🙂
If I was picking a non-navigation GPS I'd probably go for a Wahoo, though… but I guess the 130 is designed to hit the Bolt pretty much head-on and undercut it.

Starting without one maybe but I'm in the Garmin ecosystem. I'll still use the Touring when I need map nav and i've got mounts on 4 bikes, Garmin express installed etc.
OP, Cheers for the PSA. I've just ordered the Elemnt Bolt (and a sachet of OTE energy drink) for £160.50!
Pondered over whether to just get it from Wiggle using the £80 of vouchers that I have with the rest made up in cash. But, then I'm spending £40 more for the same item just to use the vouchers....so, took the plunge with Sigmasport.
Hmm, anyone know if this works on shoes? I could do with some new road shoes and £40 off makes some of the Spec models just about affordable...just...
It's not on a product. It's on any spend over £200, I think.
Just put "giroforty" into the discount code box at checkout and if your basket is over £200 it will knock £40 off.
You can't have any already discounted items in your basket.
