Just bought 3 sets from Merlin Cycles.

Ron/Ralph combo for my mountain bike

G-One bite for my cross/gravel bike

One race guard for my road bike

Seems to be less than half retail price.

Looking for some gravel tubeless so this is well timed. Just wish Schwalbe tyre range wasn't so hard to understand.

Not for gravel unfortunately Onzadog but a decent synopsis of the MTB range here

https://enduro-mtb.com/en/schwalbe-mountain-bike-tires-review/

Might help with the casing or rubber material maybe.

Btw they also do a load of other manufacturers. I found it very handy when looking for a new tyre recently.

Cheers. There are two version of the g one bite that look identical to me. Can see what extra £3.50 gets you.

Excellent, just ordered 3x Hans Dampf to use over the winter. Perfect for the local bridleways on the hardtail.

Think Troy Lee gloves for £14 & £11 deserves its own PSA?

I can’t see two prices for the G-one bite but for the G-one allround, I think the difference is the “microskin” on the latest version.

I have one of each, and can confirm that the microskin one went up instantly and stayed up without sealant, whereas the older version had a slow leak for the first few days (with sealant). Might be coincidence but the microskin one was a joy. Neither of them were particularly difficult to do tubeless though.

I like them, and it’s a good price.

Thanks op needed a pro one speed to replace a worn rear and picked 2 more up for next time round all I can hope his that doesn't mean Merlin is dropping Swalbe or Swalbe is going away from tyres under new ownership

I've had so-so experiences with Schwalbe tyres this year. I have G One All Rounds on my gravel bike which seem flimsy and punctured really easily, despite being tubeless. They wouldnt seal back up. I've got a magic mary on my enduro bike and the side knobs are starting to rip off after just 3 months/200km or so. Fair enough it's a soft compound etc but I've had similar tyres that have held up much better.

3 Hans Dampf tyres have just been delivered, no retail packaging at all as expected but for the price of 1 at RRP I'm happy. Forgot how much Schwalbe tyres smell though when new!
