Back in stock in size large/34” only. Really impressed for £40!!
There not TLD, but comparable to some of the lighter weight FOX I've had.

Thanks, ordered some too.

I'm a bit miffed off with Decathlon. They have a notify me when back in stock function when you select the size you want. That would have been the third time I would have missed boar had you has not posted the PSA.. So thanks again 💪

Just in time for the good weather. I was in shorts last time I rode and it felt fab.

Thanks for the PSA all the same though. Had this been a couple of months ago I’d have checked out in a jiffy, but if I were to buy them now I fear they’d just languish with my winter gear until October.

Thanks for letting us know Edward.

Surely they are worn just to get covered in shit within 5 mins, colour not really a factor for me.

Shame about the seam going, did they accept the return?

I really am not too keen on the colour!

Picture seems to make them look brown, they are a dark grey in reality or at least my ones are. Good value and come up small or at least to exact size

Yes they are dark grey (with orange writing) rather than brown. Really good bits of kit.

Sold out again now though.

Mine arrive this afternoon. Why are DPD drop off points in the most horrible parts of town? Anyone would have thought that there is no such thing as COVID 🤦‍♂️. I digress.

Any..
First impressions, they seem ok. A bit snug around the waist, but I knew that anyway seeing as I've put on a bit of weight over lockdown three. Plenty of room for knee pads, leg length as always is a shade too long, but I'll cope.
First ride in them tomorrow, might be a bit warm but at least I'll be able to peal them off and get into the car with clean legs.

Just tried mine on. Amazingly they appear to have used my identical twin as a model - near perfect fit. I doubt my huge Launch Pro knee pads will fit but I wasn’t expecting them to, these are more for commuting etc.

Got mine too. Like em. A bit snug around the hips / waist but ok but there’s a bit of stretch there and reckon they’ll be comfy. Happy for £40.

Just picked up a pair, have to agree they seem pretty decent especially for the money. Fit seems good, pretty impressed.
Will give them a try at the weekend.

First wet ride and kept me bone dry, I do run a mudhugger out back mind. Really comfortable with plenty of stretch and room for pads.
Noticed they have a single stitch seam down the arse, so that might be the cause of the problem people have found?

I use these for work and riding around in, snug, warm, hard-wearing

Are these the same ones MBR recently tested? Bloke was raving about them until the seat area fell apart after a few months 🙄

For those interested in a low(er) cost riding pant alternative, Decathlon also has the NH500 Slim or Fit or whatever. They are very breathable, very nice to pedal in. No, they're not as robust as 100£ Endura or Fox pants, but mine were good for an year of heavy riding and crashes before a seam gave up. But then, for £20, and frequently in stock...

Somebody on here recommended the Decathlon climbing pants which I bought. They are warmer than the Trail pants and are nicely stretchy. It looks like they are going to last longer too. My 6 month old Trail pants are looking worn already.
Sorry I can't remember the exact Model/name

Does the seam go or the material?

Seams look worn but the material looks increasingly thin and a couple of random pin holes have appeared.

Just had a look at Decathlon website and they don't seem to have the exact type I bought but the Simond Stretch climbing trousers Edge look to be an updated version.

@FOG thanks!
They indeed look good, but fashion victim in me is a bit meh about the straight cut bottoms

Ordered a pair of mediums to satisfy curiosity. As expected they're too slim in the butt area and a tad too long in the leg.

My search continues...

I have some L inbound (normally a medium) so @jimmy I might be interested unless you already sent them back.

Thanks, I ordered some on the last PSA and wanted another pair. Seem to be wearing ok compared to the Endura / Polaris ones I have - both of which have required stitching recently though managed a couple of years.

@hainman... I ordered the recommended fit for my size and they are spot on. Very flexy and comfy and so far have stood the winter test since october. Minimal wear but they are definately well used

Just to note though... If you have long legs its may well be worth sizing up for the extra length

Regarding sizing, I'm a 32" waist for all my jeans and trousers, medium in Dakine and Endura MTB shorts.

Ordered a medium and large in the Decathlon trail pants as I know decathlon sizing can be in the small size... Found the mediums fine in leg length but tight on the waist and crotch. Large much better, perhaps a tad long in the leg but can live with it. Kept them and returned the mediums. Very happy with them for the money.

My size L arrived today. Decathlon walking trousers are M (great fit) but glad I ordered L after reviews. My waist is 33 (34 denier), 5ft 8, normal leg length. Just wish I’d worn them tonight as weather was shite but had planned on reinforcing the arse from the off with some Gearaid Tenacious Tape I have in the cupboard.

My size L arrived last week. Im 5'10 and a medium usually but my 'athletic' legs and arse meant i needed to size up, i sent the M back. Gave them a blast this weekend and they really aced it in some scottish slop. Only criticism is that may legs have not sweated like that in a very long time!! maybe thats just from years of wearing shorts regardless of weather/temperature
