Bought those bars from flatout a couple of weeks ago. They're certainly handle bars! I like 'em

Specialising in used, doesn't mean it's all used, and it does say they're new?

Pre owned/ discount specialists, is what it says above their name?

Yep, I got that bit.. but doesn't really tell me much more..

You can sell a bike via them, but it doesn't say how they get their used parts and new parts from.

Consignment stores (posh charity store I guess) work where people deliver used but good condition products direct to the store and work typically on a 50:50 split on the sale price. You'd can then get cashed out or a larger value as credit towards purchasing from their inventory.

Consignment stores work to bulk purchase end of season clearance stock from wholsealers for their 'new' product.

But for used stuff, its reliant on supply by the public.

So, whats the source of the used sock.. thats pretty pertinent information before I buy the a set of brakes for my kids bike.

Our stock comes through numerous avenues, a lot comes through our customers in the form of part exchanges and through our ‘Sell your bike’ form. We also take in ex demo / display stock from a range of shops and distributors.

I've bought quite a lot from them now and it's always been in good nick and how they describe.

Bit of an elephant in the room with a set up like this, when hard to trace and high value items like bike parts are involved.

well ive ordered some, theyare 4 quid more expensive on crc, tho out of stock till 10/02/14 so im guessing that a load have been dumped on the market - theyll be at on-one next! possibly related to 2pure parting ways with CB??

edit flatout also have a load of new CB headsets going cheap, but they dont have the best rep!
