No no, they're not selling bikes for 84p silly.
It's just this frame that's called that.
It's a new steel full suspension bike and...it's lush.
Lovely black and gold. Black and gold is always good right?

Will this end up like Sick bikes ?
The web site does look nice however.
Will this end up like Sick bikes ?
Now why would you say that?
These appear to be UK made by a small builder, with no T-shirts in sight.
No t-shirts? I’m out!
To pre-order we ask for a deposit of £450.00
We will update you once we have beagn building your frame and then on completion.

Good luck but I think the Sick boys have shit all over your business model.
Am oooot
Looks good, like the look of their hardtails as well. Has anybody ridden those?
Nice looking frame!
looks like a banshee titan
About Us link works for me

There is t-shirts for the record 😉
Insta links no longer appear on stw
I think they look rad. Looking at their insta tells you pretty quickly that they're bugger all like those Sick knobbers.
That does look nice.
I get the name from the heritage of the area...but 'Coal'?
Unless I'm missing something obvious I'd be interested to know what '84p' refers to.
Frame looks lovely.
Site looks nice...needs a keener eye on spotting at least one typo though 😉
Good luck to him.
Looks like a Sunday. Is it a DH bike?
Hardtail looks nice but £900 for a steel frame? Way above my pay grade.
interested to know what ’84p’ refers to.
Miners strike starting in 1984 possibly maybe? 🤔
Dunno, I wasn't even born then*

Lack of tattoos?
It looks like a 2005 Trance.

Kind-of.
Funny how that looks better than current Giants though.
Donkey jackets would be more on brand than t-shirts.
Looks nice 👍🏼
Does that 84p have a dw-link?
why is all modern instagram marketing just 'we are so excited to sell you some shit'
isn't there another line available, somewhere?

Well, how about because it's an independent craftsperson that's put an awful lot of work into something over a long period of time and finally, finally it's ready to show to the public?
Will that do? 😉

Serious answer? Because it's mostly done by amateurs who just copy what they've seen elsewhere.
As this brand appears to be a one-man band, that's not meant as a criticism in this case.
I'm sure I could do a better job with the words, but you certainly wouldn't want me to weld your bike frame up.
That looks lovely. Prefer the vertical shock aesthetic on steel frames. Not looking at the price though if the HT is £900.
No headtube badge either. Isn’t it a rule that steel bikes have to have a nice badge?
I like the look of the hard tail, but unfortunately I’m not in the market at the moment.
I wonder if for £900 you have to wait 6 months for it to be built and then have no idea when it’s finished or actually being shipped to you? Mentioning no names... cough cough Marino cough cough...
£900 doesn’t actually sound that bad for a handmade UK hardtail.
I think it looks great. Fair dues. I'm impressed and I hope he does well with it.

To be fair I'd be F--- excited too if I was starting out with my own company that combines my skills and interests in an area as fun as this. Even more so with a bike that looks that good.
Its hard to sell stuff online - you need to realise most potential customers have an online attention span measured in seconds. Plus they look at your pitch on a screen about a big the palm of your hand. It couldn't be worse.
So how do you grab their attention when they are bombarded by other stuff constantly and still show the product, the detail and the whole ethos of your brand. Very difficult.
I suppose a good picture grabs their attention, then hopefully that leads them to look further.
Looks ace
Looks lovely - and very JPS!
