You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
In case you know anyone looking for a cheap starter MTB who doesn't fancy buying s/h (understandable if you don't know what you're doing) I noticed Halfords (bite your lip - they have their place) are doing a Voodoo HT with shimano gears and brakes and an air fork for £360. If you have to buy new that's mental. Sadly the equivalent 29er that I am keeping an eye on as a second bike is not reduced so much. Oh well...
Just a little bit more ish (80 quid more), my mate has bought a new 2009 Kona Caldera from Pauls cycles, Tora forks, XT/deore spec. Bargain I reckon.
That's a proper bargain alright. I find Paul's and other similar bargain merchants are great if you fit the usually limited range of sizes they have left in the mega deals category. If you do - happy days!
