Okay, got these, fitted and been for a ride. Now how the **** do you stop them rattling around?? As far as I can see there is nothing to stop the guards sliding up and down on the rails ❓

The front one pivots at the brake calliper and the back pings out from following the shape of the wheel to sticking out so far that it clips my toes when I turn, and the front edge rubs on the tyre.

The rear one doesn't rub but rattles like a skeleton having a **** in a biscuit tin.

These bolts don't actually grip the rails as far as I can tell:

Edit: and the water from the front wheel splashes directly on your shoes 😆

^^ To answer my own question, quite simply the nuts needed to be far tighter! It felt like they were fully done up, but i think they were just pressing against the nyloc insert. Wanged a lot more tension on, now they're sorted. 🙂
