£9.95 down from £35...! I've got one and it's great.
Probably a stupid question but here goes it can be used manually as well as with CO2? 🙄
Love that pump!
Cheers!
Yup, it's a dual pump/CO2 inflator, which is why I got it. Plus you don't have to use a whole cartridge in one hit either if you don't need. Fits nicely in a frame bag.
I got one when they first went on sale a few months ago. It now lives on my fatbike and can pump up my 4.5" tyres manually in a few minutes. I think its better at high volume low pressure. They are quite heavy though.
Not sure if the Blackburn road pocket pump is still on sale but they were also silly cheap and actually work really well plus are very light and fit in a jersey pocket
I have one too, got it at Christmas. I mounted it onto the bike but had to rebuild it as it got full of mud and crap over winter. I've used it as a normal pump and it was very effective, no reason to believe that the CO2 won't work as expected too. I really like the Blackburn stuff, really nicely made.
I should have bought this yesterday, it's gone up to £15 now.
Nice one for the shout just grabbed one earlier
Now £14.95, or am I missing something?
Great quality pump thanks! Bloody substantial!
Got a couple of issues. Dust cap doesn't fit on when set to presta valve. Also when fitted to frame, the top half will rattle against the frame as it's loose? A bit of tape maybe, but is that a bit of a design issue or am I missing something?
Got mine this morning.
It's a heavy brute, and as above the dust cap only fits if you leave it in schraeder mode. Converting to Presta is pretty fiddly and having to do that whenever you use it would be really annoying.
Pretty disappointing, I'm gonna send it back if I can (might be easier said than done with CO2 cartridge). It does feel really well made, though.
Dust cap fits in presta/schraeder but not Dunlop.
50psi max, bear that in mind fellow roadies.
As above, you only need to reverse the rubber washer for dunlop which presumably no one has used since 1958 So dust cap fits fine if using presta.
Oh OK that's useful to know.
mine is now full of s++t. Can they be taken apart? If so how??
