Been looking for one for a while and stumbled across this:

Looking forward to trying it out.
Go on then, I missed out last time. I've ordered one for a Norco Sight. My only complaint about the bike is the rear suspension and making the choice between compliance or support. Hopefully this can sort that out and it's cheaper than a new shock.
(I know I'll end up with a shock eventually but at least I'll have the link in place).
Thanks for the PSA. Been tempted by one for my Megatower for a while, can’t argue at that price.
Ooh they make one for my commencal.
Still even half price it's a lot of money for a bit of a whim!
doh! all the current Levo stock have sold out, was tempted...
Gutted they don't make one for my Orange or Starling.
🙁
please tell me there were no levo long shot kits, i only bought one a couple of months ago at full RRP! great bot of kit though if you can swallow the price

Same here but I was about to shell out for a Formula Mod shock so this will be a band-aid for a while at a much lower price.
@sofaboy how do you find the Levo link? Is it on a gen3?

@richwales - yes got the long shock kit on a gen 3. had the linkage for about 2.5 months, but been waiting for a new shock to use it - the long shock kit requires a 230X65 instead of the original 210x55 - been waiting for a mate to get his new bike to sell me the X2 that came on it as he was swapping out for his favoured coil, so only had 4 rides or so and still dialling in the shock, but yes it feels good and is doing what i wanted it too.
it's upped the rear travel to 165mm, but given the increase in progression and bottom out resistance, i can run the shock pressure lower to get the c c 30% sag i like so small bump has improved with out any detriment to mid stroke support (if anything it feels a little better). over all the rear end feels plusher without blowing through the travel.
i'm a heavier rider at c 16 1/2 stone with kit, so used to have the stock shock quite high pressures and it always felt too taught unless you were hitting bigger stuff fast
given that you have to have a new shock with it, i'm not sure the improvement would fully justify the cost of the link at full rrp and a new shock at full rrp, but if you have got a shock already or can get one cheap enough, and youre a heavier rider / want the extra travel i'd go for it.
the only potential negative (other than cost) is it raises the BB by c 5mm when in the low rear setting (despite what the website says). i don't really have an issue with that as has cut down on pedal strikes
overall with that and 170mm forks, it mores the levo more towards an e-enduro bike, which is what i was after
Thanks for the feedback - I can’t get the gen3 rear shock how I want it and think that new linkage even with a mediocre bigger shock will be an improvement. The small shock seems to be choked up with too high pressure to stop bottom out. Don’t really want to spend on a top end smaller shock if the linkage can sort it. Shame the linkage is sold out on uk site.
Ooh, I've always thought it would be nice to have a £530 caliper on my bike! Sweet.
Damn! half price. Cheap rubbish!
