Seems a very good price for a well reviewed and decent specced bike
Oof. Might be just what I'm looking for. Will this pedal well enough? I'm a wheels on the ground, xc type rider ....sadly lacking the xc fitness of my youth. It'd be replacing my 10 year old Trance X 29er.
you blighter! that is a good deal.
although the base spec alloy version is a pretty good deal IMO too:
I'd take advent X and a metal frame over SX and Carbon and pocket the £400 saving myself
There's also the longer travel 'Force to consider too@ £1200:
Pauls are having a bit of a clear out it seems.
They are supposed to be pretty good, there were some good reviews when they came out.

I reckon it would be a good replacement for an aging Trance for sure.
business as usual then!! (I've bought a few bargain bikes off them over the years!)Pauls are having a bit of a clear out it seems.
Bomber Z2 and SX on a 3 grand bike? And people say e-bikes are overpriced…
Well GT do the discount route so even before this (decent) psa nobody was paying 3k for one. And it is carbon...
Gt always seem on sale, like Kona used to always be
Decent bike for 1500 though
By coincidence I saw one of these today and it is properly ugly. The frame itself is a mess of shapes and angles apparently designed by 5 different people, and it manages to look tall and short and steep even thoguh I'm pretty sure it's not. The teal colour is actually really nice and then they went "yeah time to ruin that with the logos" and they really did. Like, the downtube one is genuinely one of the crappest attempts at a logo I've ever seen, and then you see the headtube and it's even worse.
But you can't see any of that when you're riding it I'm sure and it looks like awesome value. The alu force maybe even more so, as well as less ugly?
Agreed the GT logo is absolutely shocking. I think that every time the downhill is on tv
Depending on where you are, Twisted oaks bike park has the sensor and newer force ss their hire bikes this year. Good day out too. Looks are a bit marmite, I bought a new shape force from Paul's just before Christmas at 50% off and love it.
I very nearly bought one of these, but ended up going for a Canyon Neuron instead. Very decent price though that!
That's cheaper than the alu Sensor I bought about 4 years ago! If I had the opportunity and rode a lot more than I do at the moment I'd buy one instantly as I love the way mine rides.
I am a bit of a GT fanboi though, and find they always just 'fit' me, if you get what I mean.
