I've been umming and erring about one of these for a while, and £70 is a very good price, about what they go for second hand on ebay.

Am I just fortunate that my ample posterior finds cheaper saddles absolutely great?
Give me a charge spoon anyway and Ill be comfortable riding it all day.

I love a charge spoon (though they're £35 now, not as cheap as they were).
I seem to wear them out in about 2-3 years though. Stitching goes, and the nose wears through.
I'm hoping the Brookes has more longevity.

I've had one on the Diverge for 2 years now. Very nice.

Most comfy saddle I own (C17) - I use Flites and Prolongs otherwise.

If I find a Brooks Imperial (B17 with a cut out) comfortable - riding with level bars - would I also find a Cambium of the same width comfortable or are they quite different shapes?

I love my C17 Cambiums (Cambia?). First one I got was like coming home to an old sofa. I haven't quite managed to put one on a mountain bike yet for some reason but it's only a matter of time.

However, C15 I loathed. Of course fit is different and presumably I've just got a C17 arse, but I think mine was also just comparitively very rigid and it's the give of the cambium I think I like.

I have a c13 cambium. Comfy as

Also have 2 brooks and a ti swift.

Of them all the ti swift is the least comfy

I've a C13 cambium on all my bikes. By far the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. Yes they are expensive, but worth the lack of discomfort imo. Also as the Op says most brooks saddles retain high 2nd values.

Saddle ordered Thursday, delivered Saturday morning (cheers Rutland, nice and quick!).

Fitted last night to my Stooge MK4, and ridden 50km today, on a 70/30 off-road/road loop.

Comfy as 😎 I obviously have a C15 shaped arse.

B'ah! It's gone up to £85 now, just as I was finally about to order one...

Thanks anyway OP - that was a good deal!
