I have just bought one of the 200 hundred euro cube Bike Discount frames (229 euros with post for a cube attain gtc, ordered Sunday and arrived Friday.) But...it came without a rear axle, can any owners give me a size.

Have you got a link to the PSA?

Interesting PSA... Been thinking about building a hard tail.

The dropout/axle size seems to be listed on all the adverts.

(assuming this is the link)

Says 12x142mm in the listing, specifically Syntace X12 (no idea how standardised rear axles of the same size are).

Unfortunately not standard. There are even different thread pitches. Unless someone can definitively say I'd wait till it arrives and measure to be on the safe side.

Oh, are you getting a matching fork?

Syntace X12 should be common

Syntace X12 12x142.

I've had that full bike for just over two years, been great, hope you looked at the odd geometry before ordering...

I'm 178cm with short 83cm cycling inseam legs, frame is "58cm" model (which corresponds to no tube length on the bike).

200 Euros for frame is a great deal, shame they don't seem to have any Cube tapered disc forks, the matching one for the frame has an alloy steerer but the newer model is full carbon.

There aren't matching forks,I have decided to go for a Matt black full carbon hylix one. Mr goat; friend has an alu 60cm which fits me well. I was chasing the odd one on eBay but they go for a fortune. The Ali frame only is 85 euros. I am going to have a 105 equipped carbon bike with stans wheels and hydraulics for £750. Thanks for the headsup on the rear axle.
