I know nothing about road bikes but this appears to be a mega bargain?

If anyone ever paid £7k for that then they’d firmly had their pants pulled down.  It looks like a £1k special being over charged to me!

Tried to click on their FAQs and it wouldn't work.

Looks like a bit of a scammy site to me.... I may be wrong though.

Yeah that’s legit. They are a proper make though that model looks a couple of years old - 2021?

The kit is expensive and the frame is high quality - not my bag and 7k is a bit steep but certainly worth 2k

The wheels aren't made by the same people who made ZZYZX forks about 25 years ago are they?

No, don't think so, those were made by Bullet Bros. Turns out Zzyzx is a town in California, founded in the '40s by some snake oil grifter. Maybe slightly ironic given the massive discount on this supposed £7k bike

Proper new kit bitches would no doubt turn their noses up at 11 speed mechanical DuraAce now, but it's probably worth it for the groupset alone (assuming it's not a scam).

Tis gopping though even for a bargain... Maybe slightly less gopping in black (?)

I’ve bought Lyriks from Sport & Leisure before so it’s definitely a real company.

The seller is legit, I had a dropper post from them a while back with no problems other than it taking a while to arrive.

The bike looks like something you could buy in Asda.

For a bike with a lot of pretty nice parts on it (and quoted as weighing 7.8kgs), that looks gross somehow.

Click the black version of the bike and it looks OK. The blue one looks all wrong

Edit: Company number does check out.

I'd still be careful though.

I wouldn't have any issues buying from them.

People thought that was awesome when it was winning XC races back in the 90s! 😀

I looked at these a while ago, but on PBK, not Sport and Leisure but it looks to be a way better deal now... PBK were charging over £5k!

From what I can see the one linked is the mechanical version of the one DA Bikes reviewed

For what it's worth I've ordered quite a few bits of their site before including a Rival 1x groupset and I've got absolutely no complaints so it's defo legit

In the bargain stakes on that website - these look pretty good:
https://sportandleisure.com/collections/bfcm23/products/hunt-4-season-gravel-disc-wheelset (£265 - down from £429. £303 on Hunt's site)

Same bike but with SRAM RED etap AXS for 3k on the same site…

Neither are lovely but better in black, and both are a lot of bike for the money.
