There's a Code box on the checkout page that applies the discount. Awesome PSA, been wanting a pair of their shorts for ages, but could never bring myself to pay full price! Thanks.

This puts me off

NOTE: All sale items are final. No Refunds. No Returns.

Surely that’s not legal under distance selling regs?

Anyone know what the fit is like? I am a large in normal clothes....a XXL in castelli! should I go for XL in Aussie Grit?

I wear a large in a lot of stuff, but needed an XXL in their gilet - but I remember feedback from others on here at the time was quite different, they found the sizing OK

Bugger, didn't see the no returns bit! Never had their stuff so sizing is unknown to me.

I'm a medium in most things, small in some and my gilet in medium fits pretty well.

Gilet arrived this morning, it's a lovely thing but by Christ it's nothing remotely close to a Large size. Medium (and a tich't Medium at that) would be more accurate.

Pinged them a note in the hope they can swap it for an XL.

I know it's a bit of a fattening time to be alive right now, but blimey.

If they won't do a swap, anyone want a bargain priced Medium-sized Large gilet? It's very nice!

@jamesmio Glad to hear I'm not alone, I was miles off on sizing also.

FWIW, Aussie Grit were excellent to deal with on returns, a quick email to them and they dispatched a replacement before I even returned the original, although that was last year's sale.

That Gilet is nowhere near a large. I ordered one a while back. Will get round to selling it eventually but glad to order an xl that might fit me now. They are lovely bits of kit. Just sized oddly

Oh dear.....medium gilet on it's way to me too..I've got a Flint Jersey in a medium and so just assumed it would fit. Oh well I'm sure it will fit someone.

How do the flint jerseys size up? I’ve ordered one in my usual size....

Mine is the blue flint one with the merino chest insert rather than the black one with the contours. I'm a large in Rapha and a medium in Altura. 6ft and 75kg with a 33 waist. Medium in that is perfect.

Just got my medium flint jacket and fits fine, I’m a tall ‘medium’ . If I were being really picky the sleeves could be a tad longer, but it’s a lovely jacket. Also hoping it now doesn’t rain as I bought a jacket! Very pleased with it for the price!

My Flint jersey arrived today in large. (The blue one with merino panel). I'm 6ft, 84kg and it's a good fit for me. Relaxed but not flappy.

@roger_mellie and winston. Cheers, hopefully I’ll be ok with an XL jersey then at 6’4” and 90kg.

Ok, how does the sizing in jackets and gilets compare with say Castelli?

I've got one of these gillets in Large after being advised of weird sizing, but I really need a Med.

If anyone wants to swap, let me know!

Anyone got shorts - I'm a 34 waist which is in theory a large but slightly cautious that it is class to the XL threshold.

Stuff I've had would be akin to Rapha sizing more than Castelli. I'm 100kg and 44 chest and I'm an XXL.

I just ordered a flint jacket. Already have a gilet and it's a lovely thing. Hoping the jacket sizes up the same.

Ok, I've never bought any Rapha clothing, so don't know how this compares to Castelli clothing sizes. Is Rapha generally smaller or larger than Castelli?

Well my 'large being big enough' fears were unfounded, it seems that I had sub-consciously accepted my chub status and ordered the xl! They fit me well! 6ft, 92kg (gut heavy!)

Just received my medium thermal gilet. Its a perfect fit and a totally normal medium - not even a 'cycling medium' and certainly not a castelli medium.

Its also very very nice and a total bargain

Just ordered flint bike jersey. I'm 186cm/98kg and 44 chest, decided to size up and gone xxl. Hope it's not too big.

Thanks, I already have a normal and a thermal gilet which fit me like a glove in medium, so just ordered another in the other colourway.

Anyone got shorts – I’m a 34

My bib shorts arrived today - I'm probably a 35" (35" almost never exists so I'm 36" and a belt normally) and the XL Bib shorts fit just fine. Snug, I wouldn't want them to be snugger.  (fit well for height as well - 6'6"). I wouldn't imagine they'd be too big for someone 34

Phew, 6ft, 85kg and 39" chest, size large gilet is perfect.

Kind of wish I'd got the thermal one though...

Bought some and it arrived today.

I have some Rapha kit for my sins am am a XL tops and L bottoms in it. Good road fit in the classic stuff and spray on in thier Pro line. 33" waist, 43" Chest & 5'11"

I bought the Aussie Grit stuff in the same sizes as I would buy Rapha. It is a good mtb fit, slightly looser than road but not a lot.

It's really good quality. Would I buy at full price, maybe but at half price it is a bargain. The Flint shell jacket is pretty unbelievable for £50 (original rrp was £200) and the thermal gilet is good too.

Highlight are the shorts though - which is a surprise as it took a couple of beers and a few false starts for me to put them in the basket because even at half price they are not expensive. Flipping awesome though. I might buy a 2nd pair they are that good.

Sale still on and I need some shorts.......so I have the Flint Jersey and Thermal Gillet both in medium and the fit is snug but fine - wouldn't want any smaller though.

Do I go medium or large in the bib shorts?   32/33 ish waist, no gut at the moment though its a moveable feast  and 6ft tall.

Urgh, I managed to resist when this was first posted a month ago. But didn't manage this time. Just bought a jacket and gilet. Very good prices for things I sort of don't really need.

Thanks for the heads up. I think.

I bought a medium gilet last month and have just bought the Ignite 2 in 1 shorts also in medium and they seem about right with a similar waist (if I lay them flat the waist measures about 41cm if you want to compare). They also have plenty of stretch in the straps.

The new lower prices are crazy low for some of the kit. Just bought a 2nd pair of the bib shorts. I'd buy another jersey too but not got my size in. The gilet(s), the biking waterproof and the gilets are incredible quality for the price.

The shorts with insert are £39 for men and £29 for women - used mine for couple of months and love them
The Flint performance jersey with merino insert is a really nice top too - only £11 for men and womens

Gilets good value too as previously said
Fit is fairly standard

Bugger, my Bike shell (which is now further reduced to £35) and Thermal Gilet (out of stock) have just turned up.
However the 2-1 Ignite Shorts are now £50.....

I bought a Medium Flint Jacket which looks great quality, but it's quite an athletic medium IMO. I tend to buy medium tops (I'm 6'1 / 75kg ish and prefer slim fit) but for this I'd think about sizing up if I was planning to wear a few layers underneath.

Besides at these prices I'm pretty sure it's worth the risk?

Alternatively how about a STW Swapshop? Think I still have a tanktop....

Do they actually ship from Australia - or do they have distribution from the UK?

I've ordered the Ignite bib short and Flint Gilet in XL... at 6'1" and 15st I hope they're okay!

I ordered a gilet the first time around and it was too small. I received a quick reply to an email enquiry enclosing a returns form. Larger size ordered and refund processed quickly on the one I sent back.

Light speed tee arrived earlier in the week. Love it. Great for running and riding. Normally a medium for Howies / Endura but followed their sizing and got the small.

Ordered the Flint mtb shorts this morning.

Ignite 2in1 bibs ordered last night here too. Had medium in basket but then went looking for reviews and sizing advice, and they'd sold out in the meantime - liam1972, I'm looking at you! Large ordered, given severe lockdown weight gain, but I'm a 5'8 shortarse, so think these may end up going back. Waist size may be spot on though, we'll see. Wish I'd stuck a Light gilet in the basket too, as looked a nice bit of kit.

Damn you lot. Ignite bibs and some socks ordered. Tried to resist but I am addicted to a bargain. I have got the standard Ignite and only complaint is they do slip down a touch so problem hopefully solved with the bibs. It's lovely kit, wish I'd got in sooner to get a thermal gilet as the standard one is ace.

My lightweight Gilet, Flint jersey and Flint shorts all turned up this morning after ordering on Thursday!

I already have the jacket, ignite shorts and the thermal gilet (plus another Flint top!) which I bought in the 50% sale which was a great price already. Now its at Aldi price!

The thermal gilet is the best I've ever used and this new lightweight looks just as good.   The shorts are great too and iff anything the flint shorts feel even more comfortable than the ignites - but I like bibs for any drop bar bike.

I'm 6ft, 32" waist, 39" chest and 75kg and all kit is a medium  though the gilets run smaller than the rest and give a more roadie fit which I prefer.

Rats, should have got some medium bibs, the large just feel a tiny bit big.

But given that both sizes are now sold out, anyone want to take them off my hands? Just looking to recoup what I paid, think it was £52.50 posted.

Unridden, just tried on over boxers

Received my ignite bibs this morning.
Positives - side pocket is larger than the standard flint shorts so I can now fit my phone in. Mesh pockets on the rear look very useful. Not so good is the leg length is two inches longer so right down to the knee (I’m 6ft, size medium). And the material feels more crinkly and lighter weight than the shorts. Still represents great value though

How do the Flint shorts size up? Tried some Fox Defend (I think) in 34" and they were snug but not unbearable.
