Hi,

For anybody running 29+ wheels with inner tubes.

Cheapest Surly I found is £10.99 at Evans: Evans 29+ inner tube

On-One are only £2.99 On-One 29+ inner tube.

They are listed as 2.3-2.7 but made comparison with Surlys and they seems to be the same width wise, and even 15g lighter 🙂

Left On-One, right Surly:

Good find, I need some spares.

How long are the valve stems?

Last time I bought some cheap tubes from On-One (26" DH) the stems were ridiculously short, which is basically a massive pain in the arse!

40mm.

Not overly long but not too short either...

Cheers!

I fitted a 29er on one tube ( in the garden luckily ) , mounted the wheel , spun it round ....& BANG ! Scared me to death - the tube had exploded & had a 6 inch split in it when i took it out of the tyre .

I dumped the other one i had .

Just a bit of an update for interested.

Installed yesterday, pumped up to 30PSI.

No explosions, holding nicely.

Good buy 🙂

Cheers!

Ah. Might need to invest in a couple as spares. Glad to hear they are lighter than surly tubes. Thought they might be like the Fatty OEM tubes and weigh a bleedin' ton!
