Well I decided to cancel in the end.
2 weeks and counting waiting for my hope headset. They wont reply to my emails and wont give me an ETA for when my headset will be ready.
I am ringing up to cancel tomorrow.
If that’s correct are they strict on it?
After 7 weeks when I cancelled my bike I did get a full refund on it.
I called them today to enquire why when I tried to tracked my order it wouldn't let me saying there was no such order.
I was told this was down to a new system.
I was also told they had had in a large Hope delivery today.
I have since received the same email as other have today.
Interestingly I notice that the payment was debited from me despite the order confirmation stating they wouldn't. No biggie though.
My previous dealings have today been largely positive so happy to chalk this up to it being a volume "thing".
We'll see what arrives.
Hope( pardon the pun) my Hope hub is in that delivery, same as everyone else, payment taken but no dispatch date. But same as letmetalktomark has good customer service from them in the past so happy to wait and see.
I haven't even had the holding email.

I wasn't prepared to risk losing £30 for the restocking and return postage costs if there was a problem with any of the order.
They confirmed on the phone that there would be a 10% restocking fee.
Shan't use them again if that much hassle., Confirms that CRC are easy to use and return stuff

I ordered a Chameleon frame, and was strung along for a few days with excuses until i rang Jungle Products directly who told me i would be lucky if I was to get my frame in February...... Needless to say order has been cancelled and had a bit of a battle in getting a refund.
Despite me highlighting to them that the website clearly states that the frames are in stock, they have not changed this. Waste of time, i would avoid in future.
Got the generic email too. I have dealt with them before and they have always been great. Maybe they have been overwhelmed due to the great offer. Maybe they are about to do a runner with my money. Either way I have raised a case with Paypal just to be safe.
Like a few on here the lore of %20 was to much to resist, I have been looking at a custom wheelies for a few weeks now as apposed to a set of 35ws . The discount dropped these to 400 quid and had to jump at that. But a call at 5.30 pm Saturday should have had alarm bells ringing asking if I'd like to change my order as they has been inundated with orders for the same rims and there might be a problem completing the order until late January. Now after a couple of days chasing they have confirmed the wait and build time will be around a week as they are waiting on hubs from Hope,and I guess some buyers they contacted changed their orders.
Fingers crossed they complete the order within the time frame they have promised, I do know 3 of my other riding pals have had there orders for Troy lee helmets and Hope r4lights have been received after the promo codes.Im sure just a very busy week for them and in time they will come good.

Got a holding mail the other day, order arrived today.

As a couple have said above I'm giving them the benefit of doubt as I've had good service in the past, just hope the order comes at some point.

Sadly for the third time I have been given different information regarding the status of my order and delivery.
I get that busy spells mean longer lead times and I'm fine with that.
What grinds my gears is the inconsistency.....
All items were listed as <i>"in stock" </i>when I ordered over a week ago. This was evidently not the case.
"Your card will<b> ONLY </b>be debited when your order is fulfilled." It was actually debited when the order was placed.
The tracking information seems to change/disappear for no apparent reason.
Current forecast is delivery next week.
Ironically if they had said there would be a two week wait when I ordered that would have been fine.

Ordered some pedals with the black Friday code. Arrived yesterday.
Last time I used ubyk was for a chain device. Paid for next day delivery and it took 4 days. I was refunded the delivery and a % of the purchase. I've never had any real issues using them.
Ordered a more compact road cassette for zwift and it turned up today. It’s the 3rd time I’ve used UBYK and every time the order has been delayed, this is the fastest one yet. The other 2 were droppers and both took a month longer than they said, I’d have cancelled them both but they were loads cheaper both times.

Got the email that my dropper had been shipped, but the search on my order number and email does not work on the site.
I'm assuming it'll turn up, this was the same with my last order.
Delivered. And they must have read the note asking if the boost chainset in the groupset could be swapped for a non-boost if they were ordering in especially (no non-boost option on their site). 6mm offset chainring when I opened the box 🙂

Mine arrived today. Phoned the Oxford store on Tuesday, despatched same day, arrived Friday.
Their response on the phone was good, they shipped it promptly and to be honest that has always been my previous experience.

@hooja I am, stem and headset. I'm not in a rush so no big deal as long as they're here for Christmas but it is annoying.
Yep, still waiting for some Hope brakes but they explained the situation so I'm happy to wait and see.
Similar to above, as they were ordering fresh stuff in, I asked if I could swap the rotor size in their bundle and they said they'd put a note in the order. Despite the wait, which I can understand, they do seem to listening to customers which is great in this day and age.

Definitely seems to be an issue with Hope products. I'm waiting on some E4's.
Same here waiting on a Hope rear hub, other sites are saying a 28-42 day wait time on the same hub 🙁
Hope items on my order are showing as in stock. I assume that means I'll get the dispatch email in the next day or two.
My only concern is that they are showing in stock, just puzzled as to why they haven’t been dispatched if they have them!

They don’t update stock on their website. Hope stuff will be coming from hope, unless it’s available as ‘next day’ on their website it unlikely to actually be in the shop.

I had to chase 8 times for a One Up ring which never came even after 6 weeks. Plenty of promises, all hollow. They did refund me.

Less a critique of their margin, more one of market availability/constant sale somewhere.
One up are out of stock of the 31.6 170 dropper themselves which might explain the delay.
My 30.9 came on Friday along with WT remotes. trying to decide if I prefer the bar mount LA version of the Ispec mount normal version.
Well i didnt get a reply to either of my emails. I phoned the contact number and spoke to someone who was v helpful...
Around 30mins later i get an email that doesnt explain why my card was charged immediately and that my order will be sent but they dont know when.
My E4s seem a long way away from me!
One thing to say. I may still be waiting (which is understandable really) but they are one of the best companies I have dealt with, as far as communication goes. No long waits to get through on the phone, very nice and helpful people to talk to and excellent follow up to phone calls by email.
as long as there aren’t further, crazy, delays, I think I quite rate them, on customer service alone!
I had a very pleasant email from Ubyk today apologising for the delay and saying my E4's will be shipped tomorrow.
I've just had the same email, guess they had a hope delivery today!!
They're a small outfit trying to compete with the customer exceptions put in place by the big boys. I reckon some transparency on their part would help them no end, explaining that "in stock" means "we think/hope it's in stock at our suppliers" and "next day delivery" means "we'll get it out to you as soon as we can after we receive it". Genuine next day from CRC/Wiggle or cheaper but a wait from Ubyk. You pays your money, you takes your choice.
I've had some dealings with them and they are a good bunch but seem to be up against it with the service they're purporting to offer.
I've had the same pleasant communication. I'm feeling rather smug that I didn't cancel the order now.
I do think the way we react to delays in delivery shows how impatient we've become. We want free delivery yesterday.
I saved £70 on a wheelset I was going to buy anyway.

I’ve also had a great experience today with them(as I’ve had before) not sure who I spoke with but the Hope hub I’m waiting on hadn’t arrived with them from Hope but not to be out done they sourced me the hub and popped it in the post today. Hats off to them 👍

Money taken 23rd. Still waiting on two wheels. No response to emails so phoned. Phone conversation stated that they will be this week, or next.
Frustrating as still marked as in stock on their website and they seem unconcerned by this misleading statement.
I have had problem free shopping in the past with them so am a little disappointed.

very helpful throughout via phone and email.... about 2 weeks from order to delivery, major savings over any other supplier, so more than happy to wait two weeks, which is actually a pretty short wait really!
