Anyone tried these? need to replace my winter commuting waterproofs
The Proviz stuff seems to be getting good reviews by the Road.cc team
Jacket scores 9/10 and trousers score 7/10, trousers low score due to breathabiltiy but they were testing them in June!

I have a 360 gilet and i rarely wear it now as it is absolute boil in the bag.
If you want nearly as good reflectivity and decent breathability i would have a look at the sugoi zap stuff.
Not sure if the proviz crs stuff is more breathable though
I got one of the pure silver ones at Xmas 2019. And then quickly got Long COVID and have barely worn it since. But -
I do like it, and my goodness it's reflective
The cut is decent for cycling, good long sleeves, but I find it a bit baggy around the chest
It's pretty waterproof - I think it would wet out, given enough punishment, but my commute is only 30 minutes each way so that's not been a problem
No pit zips! A bit sweaty, but then you'll mainly wear it in winter months.
Some of the colours of the new style currently seem to be on offer on the PRoViz website for £45. I reckon that's a bargain!
There are a few more brands doing it too. I've got a Sugoi and it has fleece lined sleeves, really nice!
Anyway, yeah - Madison is one that comes to mind https://www.freewheel.co.uk/madison-stellar-shine-reflective-men-s-2-layer-waterproof-jacket-varmcl21w11
bit pricier than Pro-Viz
actually I just looked and mine does have pit-zips. Not sure why I thought it didn't. Must have been thinking of a different jacket...
Cheers for the replies
Not going to bother with the Proviz stuff now
Ive found my current waterproof jacket on sale for £30 (Altura Nevis 3) my current one has lasted 3+ years and i like the fact it has 4 pockets & pit zips and its only failing due to wear/age
Just need to find some waterproof trousers now
Provis 360 jacket. Fantastic reflectability (is that even a word). But what ive found is its supposed to be breathable (for the 'Plus' version) and isnt particilarly, and ive found the material rips easily and the zips arent that great, have to 'lube' the waterproof zips often so much soits a PITA when the dont zip up properly or get stuck on way down.
Based on feedback from others, I opted for the gilet - sizing is generous, so it goes over winter kit, but breathable it is not.
I've also got a pair of their reflective overshoes, which are quite weird, not stretchy or aero, bit baggy and flappy. Not unlike myself. But they are the motherlode for getting noticed, with the movement.
