Looking for recommendations for somewhere to spend a long weekend in mid-October.
Some big days out in the hills, more xc orientated than gravity, although options would be nice.
Any suggestions?

Just had some nice riding in and around Gorges du Verdon.
Plenty of XC but you have to look for it.
Great area for a holiday.

In the Sospel area there is a company doing uplift & guiding called the cool bus.

Only ridden road in Alpes Maritime but it is stunning. Sospel and the Vesubie area are very picturesque.
