I know a few members use Dumyat so thought this may be of interest.

Matt - My letter in favour is on the planning application site

(Application was submitted months ago).

Goes to the planning panel on Thursday.

Recommendation is for approval with conditions.

Yay.

Approved with conditions (which is normal. Depends on what the conditions are but hopefully minimal: signage etc).

The park is nowhere near the normal Yat route but nobody gets that !

Wow, this is great news.  I use Dumyat and mine wood a lot but having dedicated trails would be a huge plus.  Assuming of course, they don't just put in the smooth bermless gravel tracks that are way too common now.

Commented first then looked at the The Courier page 🙄 .  Looks like family friendly, short and cheerful.  Ah well, could still be worthwhile...

Good news this, more trails are always good even if it's something you don't use, Stirling has such good proper trails so this is a good addition I reckon
