Currently running a reducer headset, so I think I only need to knock out the bottom cup and replace it with something like this http://www.evanscycles.com/products/hope/pick-n-mix-headset-bottom-cup-15-traditional-ec027427#features

Or any other headset with an outer measurement of 49 and inner of 40. Is that correct?

Is this a tapered head tube model? Also how tall are you, I am just trying to figure out if the frame will fit? Cheers

Are you sure your reducer headset doesn't just have an insert that can be removed, leaving a 1.5 cup? (some did)

6'2" on a large, medium definitely didn't fit me.

I have a Superstar headset on my Prophet running a tapered fork. Works fine.

I am 6:1 and use a large. Medium would be way too small. Mine will be for sale soon too. Just need my new bike to arrive.

6ft4 on a Large with a 90mm stem. Was definitely playful AM bike rather than XC trail, ran it with 160mm travel both ends.

As Z1ppy says check the lower cup and bearing size on your current headset. You may find it's a 1.5" lower headset with a reducer crown to run your current 1.1/8th fork so you will only need to buy a proper 1.5" crown for a couple of quid.
