ideas for a fun robust hurly burly 29er hardtail
I've a bergamont trailster 10.
Its certainly robust.
It's a bulldozer.
I don't understand the question
My production privee shan GT is both fun and robust. Not as lls as some, but works very well for me. Has pretty short chainstays so quite poppy. Steel is real and has vertical flex built into chain and seat stays (no idea if it actually works, but it's certainly a comfortable ride), gusset at join of down and head tube gives extra strength for gnarr! Designed and tested in Andorra by ex Commencal bods. I rate it highly and it handles tech stuff very well
I’ve not ridden one myself but the Bird Zero 29er has been getting some great comments recently. Might be worth a test ride - it’s quite slack with a low bb so it’s meant to be great at cornering etc
There’s literally hundreds to choose from! Might help if you narrowed your purchase criteria down a little...
Full Bike? Frame only? Budget? Fork travel? Frame material? etc etc...
Trek stache excellent fun hardtail don't believe the reviews they ride great.
Pace RC 295
Very happy Bird Zero 29 owner. Amazing bike.
What's wrong with the one you've just bought?
I meant a pace rc529. Mine has shown it's worth on trail centre reds, where it is super fun and fast and on tweed valleys finest steep stuff.
What’s wrong with the one you’ve just bought?
nothing.
this is not for me. it is for a mate who is planning starting to ride in the new year.
gone down the on one scandal route. he wouldn't listen to me.
Stooge
Odds are the on one will have an issue that justifies returning it, then he can get a refund and a Bird Zero 29. Awesome bike.
Kingdom vendetta x2, love mine and surprisingly versatile.
