I was wondering if anyone made a decent fat bike that was electric. A few years ago I rode a fully rigid fat bike and really enjoyed it except for getting up big hills. A motor might sort that and you then enjoy the amazing downhill performance. Had a look on google, but couldn’t find anything decent.
In That Europe, there are quite a few manufacturers. Fantic and Elom being examples. Fantic has a Brose 90nm motor and the Elom also a Bosch. Both have good sized batteries. Elom do titanium, carbon and aluminium versions. Both suppled with Bluto forks. We have a couple of the Fantic versions and they have been very reliable up to now.
Also, there was a full suss electric from Maxx but I think it's discontinued.
I was trying to post pictures but that function is properly borked.
They look interesting. Could be a good bike for winter riding. Don’t really do e-bikes but the fat one does make some sense.
Carbon Speed from China are selling a bare full-sus fatbike frame
They are not uncommon in Finnish Lapland. A friend of mine has one made by Tunturi, if I recall (could be wrong). It looks decent, with at least front suspension. He commutes on it (a few kms) throughout winter-spring and regularly ventures into the wilds.
