They don't seem to have many coils!

And will they fit my 2010 Van R?

Not sure about Progressive, but if you're thinking of Ti springs then it may be worth giving Loco a call as he has a good range, he'll fill you in with the finer details.

im sure i read that the claimed weight savings of ti springs especially for fox shocks are minimal

Some people prefer the feel of the Ti spring vs. steel.

The larger the spring size, the larger the weight saving.

I need a spring but will only buy this one if it's cheap. If not I'll buy a steel one. I'm not in a rush so thought I might get a Ti bargain.

a 'cheap' second hand Ti will still be twice the cost of a new steel spring....

I got a Diverse one from the states for not a lot of money, worth a look, I think it was about £110 all in.

Progressive Ti springs are amongst the lightest for given spring weight/free length. They should fit fox fine, they fit 5th elements. Check the free length tho.
