In particular the Terra 9 carbon selling on crc
Had anyone heard anything about them or had any experience of them, ie riding /owning?

72 degree head angle and 27.2 seatpost would put me off, tbh.
It's not cheap cheap either and you have to source your own rear axle.

No-one else bothered to reply so I'll have a go: a 72 degree head angle is pretty steep - that's road bike territory. The description says "Terra 9 is a hearty hardtail that can tackle any terrain" which is perhaps true, but it's going to be quite alarming on some of that terrain.
My Stanton has a 68 degree head angle, and it's a lot calmer and more pleasant to ride than the 72 degree head angle bike that preceded it.
And to tackle any territory without getting off and walking you're going to want a dropper post. A 30.9mm seat tube would really widen your choices.
But if you want something for blasting round XC race courses at maximum warp it might be fine.
